Thank you for explaining. This is my first season. Currently B License, 3.97 SR 1.9k IR. I thought i needed 4.0 to get my A license. So i should have A license when the new season arrives. 👍
Yes you should. The changes will take place towards the end of the week. More than likely around Monday morning. The 4.0 only applied to fast tracking in the middle of the season.

I just started about a month ago, so thanks for the video. I had no idea what week 13 was. Having said that, I think it’s STUPID!!! Why can’t there be a normal schedule of races? I’m waiting to get promoted from D to C but there are ZERO ranked open wheel races except for the really slow rookie class ones. If they want to wait a week before starting up the official schedule, fine but there is no reason not to have access to the same races . Why are there no Formula 4 or USF 2000 races this week? It makes no sense. I might as well play another game for a week.
I understand your frustration but think about how frustrated you would be when you're in an official race and iRacing crashes due to a bug in the new build. You would lose IR as well as SR if you had and off tracks or a wreck. Say that keeps happening, now all the hard work you've done over the last 12 weeks is lost due to a bug in the system. Most people just take the week off and do something else like you suggested or they just run the un-official races and enjoy stupid stuff that you wouldn't normally get to race.
@@brokenamotorsports There's nothing stopping that from happening now. There are still official events that affect ir and sr, just not very many. If they would just have a normal schedule, then you could either take the week off or keep racing or whatever - just like every other week.
The exposure to that is limited though. I do agree there should be some official formula races of some sort though. Those who are needing to get their license up doesn't have a chance to do that in week 13.
