id like to make an analysis video on Rain World some day as it is one of my favourites and best games ive ever played

I don't know what it is with mom spiders and being such a coin flip all the time, they're either psycho killers, or suffering fatal brain rot, no in-between

6:11 wait lmao, the Scav was actually indeed cool, its just that he was trying to fire at the overseer... *And he missed wonderfully*
At 6:10 the scav wasn't aiming for the slugcat, it was aiming for the overseer (they actively hunt them).
The overseer knows this.
The overseer also purposely slips itself in between a slugcat and any scavenger.
The overseer thus causes a whopping 98% of scavenger-related death incidents for both the unknowing, and knowing slugcat.
It's hard to notice this, because every incident ends up with a very uncanny Nice Shot.

He also must have been smart or really observant too cus he used his explosive spear to cause a flashbang.

Scavengers are basically just slugcats that are genuinely so confident in themselves so they charge into enemies and immediately die

There will always be something magical about madlad scavs. They are absolutely unhinged and mostly just a danger to themselves and anything too close to them, but my heart goes out to them. I watched a scavenger throw an explosive spear at a lizard, then proceed to charge straight at it, get launched across the room by the explosion, grab another spear, and start going after the other lizard that I was currently trying to kill, only for him to get chomped before he could throw his spear. I avenged him and his corpse was airlifted by a vulture to Valhalla.

but sometimes they put the *A*

Wow, man! I’m loving these clips :D! The editing is wonderfully done-I’m impressed at how you made the words sorta slide along the screen smoothly :0. And those were some SICK moves with the grapplegrub! That sure requires some skill that I don’t think I have (after playing 400+ hours on Rainworld) :,)

I feel the video is a little rough around the edges but I definitely had alot of fun making it.
Every game that has a grappling hook is a win in my book, and Rain World's grapple worms are my favourite implementation of the mechanic. They are sort of elastic that allow you to carry momentum if you swing right. The Underhang is one of my favourite parts of every playthrough, I always improve a little on the worms with each pass.

My last memory of this game was starting my 3rd run after getting soft locked twice and reaching a dead end where the ONLY way forward was by swimming past a kelp monster. I even used hacks so i could get more tries instead of back tracking to the starting area for more karma
After 20 tries of desperation i realized that indeed, you cannot swim past them
This game could have been fun, but the level design did not allow for it
Specially when you end in the dark area and can't get a light source. Since you can't carry glow mice past many obstacles
Try throwing something at the kelps to stun them for abit. As for the light problem there's a scavenger with a latern close to the gate to Shoreline. Shame you didn't enjoy it but thank you very much for giving your opinion!

Scavengers travel around and can die, even then there where none in the area
I think it was fully east of the barren area with the scissor birds
@@rompevuevitos222 you don't even have to throw anything at it, the kelp detects you through movement, as long as you swim very slowly (tapping the arrow key) you can actually just sneak past them (though this does not work when there is a waterfall since it disturbs the water)
You… can stab them with spears just like pretty much any other creature
Do you mean to tell me that no spears would spawn no matter the cycle? I know they can be near impossible to see in the dark but all objects you can pick up flash briefly when you pass them.
Shaded Citadel truly is the region that separates the Slugkittens from the Slugcats, but with time it’s actually become the place I’m most familiar with since it’s part of the story route.
Just make sure you grab a lantern from a scav first, those are an absolute must.
@@ACE-si4ng it was in the water, you can't throw spears in the water. It was a long half submerged corridofr with a kelp monster at the end
