Hi Doctor, I am 22 y/o got my lateral malleolus broke 7 months back. It was fixated with screws and a titanium plate. The diastasis (syndesmotic) screw was used to stabilize the fibula with the tibia. I do strength training lifting heavy weights on my body. I want to get rid of the prosthetics immediately because I am afraid my training would break the screws especially the bigger one (syndesmotic screw) please advise. Thank you.

sir i have gone through surgery on my leg near knee proximal before 2 years ago ,they have used stainless steel with tighting small screw and i am scared will i get any infection ..still now didn't get any major pain or any infection .Also i have one question in case again if any incident cause on same area will get more serious issue ?

Just take care of it.
But don't do it if it is not creating any problem.
