What I want to know is how much propane does it burn on high in an hour. I think the med and high settings are ridiculous. If it's cold outside I can't imagine someone saying,, can you turn that down a notch, it's getting too in here, in this wide open world.
Yeah, definitely work best where you can block most of the wind. Although, I could still feel the warmth out in the open with a steady breeze as long as I was directly below it.

You should expect between 8-10 hours of heat with the setting on high.

How long does a 20lbs tank last?
I guess it would depend on you heat setting. I hadn’t gone thru a full tank yet with about twenty hours of run time so far.
