@@YankeesGiants It depends mate, not everyone buying tech stuff for their cameras, i had 14 pro and atm i have s23 ultra.. both with good cameras and i have no more than 3 pictures from both phones combined 🤣 i am that guy that likes to have the latest and smooth and good looking phone and almost never take any pictures apart of 3 pictures of my kitten here and there and i really dont care as long as video capabilities are good and they are good on z fold 5 z flip 5 and iphone so im considering the z fold 5 because i like everything about it and i dont really care that cameras are downgrade to s23 ultra that i have at the moment , u can see why :)

Had my Flip 5 for a week now and I rarely ever open the device. I can do 90% of my phone usage on the beautiful front screen alone. I love it.
Bro, I love this Flip5. When you pull it out around people, it makes you feel unique. That's something that's not on the spec list.
you know what you are 100% correct, that will be the future of phones because the design is exactly what I wanted, just make it a little bigger. Imagine a Note-sized phone that can fold in half. The vertical folding is really the future of Tablets I can bet two -hunned dollars on this.
That is why there is a Samsung Fold 5.

I started with the fold 2 and gave the flip 3 and 4 a try but i just like the fold more. The flip is really just a phone that becomes smaller and i feel like the fold is just so much more. Its a phone, tablet and essentially a Chromebook. Thats what i think people need to ask themselves before making a decision. Do you want a cool phone or do you want a small tablet?

I’m loving my Z flip 5 I’ve had it since the 10th of August and I haven’t missed the cameras from my s21 ultra but I’m m not going to do high grade photography on my phone just snap pics of my kids and family and the cameras on the flip are good enough for the digital photo album
I'm moving fully from Pixel to Galaxy. Looks like I can get this at a big discount with trade-in and I love the compactness. I have to carry a phone but don't use one that much, and between this front screen and the watch I'll hardly ever need to open this.
Battery life is so important!
Just got this phone from iphone 14 promax. Always been an iphone user and this phone caught my eye. I actually love it. Was weird at first getting used to it but its awesome. Front camera sucks since i always take selfies with my kids but i can just use the regular and still see myself. Battery is not so great but i heard it takes some time so i will see
crazy how fast these phones depreciate on places like Ebay. Tons of flip 5's on Ebay here in the UK for about 700 and fold 5's going for 1000-1100 - madness.

I’m 72 J, but still a cellphone nerd, I wasn’t sure I’d like this phone but after a couple days, and downloading the good lock app, I’m using the folded front flex screen as much at the full display. Just very enjoyable. I’m paying by month on my Tmobile plan, which isn’t bad. Great video brother. Thanks.

Long time j.. good review. I thought the design on the outside compared to the moto razor was ugly until I got the device in hand, it's not bad. From what I've been seeing as you've said the marketing, I wanted the moto razor first but ful price is out the question right now and my carrier decided not to go w moto razor this year.. you know who they are.also got a decent deal traded in a moto edge and got 1000 off basically for free . Just got a gripe as my screen protector juststarted to get a few lines . Ill take care of that tomorrow as this shouldn't be happening this soon or at all. Keep up the great work j. 👍
Camera matters insofar as it needs OIS and easy point and shoot capabilities. It doesn't have to have world beating zoom right now.

Its not just marketing Samsung does better - the build quality is also better in the flip than the motorola razr and the implimentation of modes and apps in the UI specifically designed for the flip is what sets its apart. Motorola rushed to get their big screen on the front first..great... but that's it.
Moto for me d best , whatever we need in a fold its there like app continuity is very useful feature at least for me.

It would have helped if Motorola didn't put a last gen processor in their phone. Should have came with snap dragon gen 2. That was the deal breaker for me no matter what Motorola did to the phone.

I have a S22 Ultra and T-Mobile will give me the Z Flip 5 for free with trade in. I'm still thinking about it.
As much as I adore the flip 5 I'm.waiting on Shop Samsung app to give a little more for trade right now I can get the S23U for 225 I'd tell you to trade ur S22U for that instead
@katinasoutherland7693 I'll wait until the S24 Ultra comes out in February. My hope is that it'll have a flat screen. My S22 Ultra has a curved screen, and it's already cracked.

I traded in my s23u for the flip 5 and have no regrets. I also use the new Sony Xperia I V so I feel I have the best of both worlds. Hated the curved display of the s23u
