Well Done Jason! You really captured the beauty of the Livingstone Range. I couldn’t of asked for a better weekend with amazing friends. Glad you guys had a great time.
Thanks for sharing Jason! Just wanted to say how much we appreciate your videos... Literally made me drive from Saskatoon to Ghost valley in a stock GX for a family camping weekend this summer just by following your videos. ! Keep up the good work and hope these trails will be in pristine condition for generations to experience...
I would have commented sooner but I was doing a thanksgiving turkey on a rotisserie over some cherrywood on top of a different mountain. Great job on the video, thanks for the kind words buddy, let’s do it again sometime
Awesome Trip! Thanks for sharing. Crazy Hat night, what a great idea. Livingstone area is beautiful place. Will have to try race horse pass one of these days. Local Albertain 🤙🏾🇨🇦
Awesome adventure. Id never be able to catch such good footage of my favorite area/ my backyard haha. That stop @ 20:30ish, you literally climbed up the sidehill to the spot Ive sat for hours and hours over the years watching the hills. Was a treat to see you all enjoy it as much as I do!
Great video Jason! Taco night at an epic camp site what else can you ask for. Also, I bet that shelf road view was amazing and I can see why Dave uses his rotopax to fill up. Out with the old gas, in with the new!
Another guidline for the viewers is to get an idea of altitude the trees pretty much do not grow over 8000ft which you can see the treeline above the camp on Racehorse.
I did margarate lake with a toyota highlander during the summer. Do you think , I can do Racehorse Pass with a highlander ? Thanks for bringing us the amazing breathtaking views.
You guys passed me on the way up Racehorse pass a couple days ago! I was on the way out on my Quad. Such a fun area to explore. Have you ever been down the back side of Racehorse? I rode a bit of the way down but it started looking like it could get pretty squirrely down there and I was riding solo. Decided to turn around before getting myself in trouble.
All of the routes in the video are on the Livingstone Pluz map that you can download from the Alberta Government site. If you are ever in Red Deer, I have hard copies of the maps at my shop. The trails in the video are purple trails on the Pluz map
