I have been having the 26" for several years now and they have been a great tire. To me they trail ride just fine.
they don’t make a 26
@@bowschwarm8245 yes they do bc I have them
@@haydeng6850 where did you get yours?
@@bowschwarm8245I have 26s on my 500 HO
Just put these on my 17 outty 850. Haven't got to test them much. They ride nice on dirt roads. 1-2mph chatter that's it!
I bought a set for my 2020 ranger 1000. Im running them at 17 psi but they really rattle the steering wheel. Will dropping the psi help that? And if so how low of psi can i go before I would have to worry about spinning one off the bead
Would you recommend these for 2016 Honda rancher 420? If not what woukd you recommend? Thank you.
How was the wear on the tires? I've heard that they come apart quite quickly
I have 1000 eu km on my Itp mega mayhem 28" today i got new backtires after 5 years🖒
I went from 28 mega mayhems to 28 terminators on my brute and it was night and day difference. The terminators are awesome compared to the mayhems.
You need to put out some new videos on the quads snowmobiles are boring to us folk that live down in Louisiana
Did you do a skid plate video for the xmr yet? Love to see some good shots of how they actually cover C.V. boots.
ok ill shoot a vid on that
I've had these since the initial release, the work very well out here on the East coast in all conditions. The trick is to run them at 1psi
How is the wear?
@@Mr.majic_cracker Mine being the from the initial release they have the rubber compound similar to the older 589's so they wear like iron.
Hey Powermodz I have a question for ya my wheeler sways a bit on the trail Could this be from the tires im running I have 27in mud xtr or is this from suspension part wear?
Tire pressure
Honestly anytime u buy a 9 inch wide tire they will dig if u wanted a better tire to stay on top the 28-11-12 is a better choice
hey PowerModz!! i just bought a 2013 polaris sportsman 850 without power steering. It has mega mayhems on it and it seems like when i drive the front end is on ice. Are all big lug tires like this? I ride mostly trails and road but want to keep the aggressive look!! what do you suggest? thanks
thats how those tires ride, others are different. they are like that because of the small amount of contact area to the ground.
Great review, I will add for anyone interested that these do not perform well in snow.
Hondude -Team Mudhogs what are some tires that perform best in snow/mud
I've always preferred the Outlaw 1's for snow and mud. Any tire without a sharp V pattern and has a good shoulder lug should perform "decent" in snow. Keep in mind that's just my opinion. I've seen mayhems in snow tho....wasn't impressed.
I will add that I haven't personally seen Assasinators in snow, but i bet that big lug would work well.
Hondude -Team Mudhogs preciate the answer. I’ve got some mayhems on my 1000 renegade right now, but looking to upgrade for an even more so aggressive tire.
well that sucks to hear.......
What did you think the biggest size tire I can put on a stock sportsman 400? it has around 30-33 hp.
Andy D you're better off going with your stock tire sizes, running any other size above or having threads higher than 1.25 inches will be hard on your engine and on your ATV overtime, unless you plan on installing a gear reduction and/or clutch kit you can try going 1" or 2" inches higher on the tire height with the same width and rim size.
For instance I'm running 25" Mudbugs on my Magnum 425 with the stock gearing and stock clutching, just enough to keep me out of the mud and still have optimal power (mines also around 30hp).
Thanks! I currently run 26 mudlites but was wondering for the future when I need to replace them. my machine has the 425 too and with about 30 horsepower it has no problem spinning the 26's with about a inch lug even in the stickiest mud. it has lots of power and torque in low so I imagine I could go to 27's with no power problems but might snap axels or possibly other things could go wrong.
Andrew Dopson lol man you can go way bigger than stock. A light weight 28 with a clutch kit is fine on that motor. Depending on your year you might not even need a lift
Side lugs would have made this tire awesome
Went from 27x10 Zillas to 28x11 MegaMayhems on my Grizzly and the machine looks nearly the same, I'm saving up for a proper set of tires
How do the mayhems compare to the Zillas?
@@jackattack7782 The Mayhems are terrible! I got them just before winter, on dirt they were comparable to zillas but in snow they are useless.. No idea about mud but likely similar to the zilla.
@@mudpuppy318 Oh well I’m in Texas so I don’t really have to worry about snow it’s just mud down here
What do you recommand "all terrain"
Maxxis zilla
Went from zillas to these, first things I noticed was steering response, these have wayyyy better directional control than the zillas
Brute force a lower powered bike! GET OUTTA TOWN! Haha
After some research I've found they put more torque to the wheels on a dyno than Many bigger cc machines.
I currently run these tires and like em so far, not as grippy as my old mud bitches were but they arnt nearly as heavy as the mud bitches either.
How would they do for combo of trail and mud on a 2021 Honda rancher IRS?
Not good
@@PowerModzOfficial what would you say is a good tire for 40 mud/40 trail/20 rock? I keep hearing about MudLites but also bad reviews so I’m kinda stuck here.
@@iithelegend8068 go with 26" zillas, lightest mud tire on the market so u won't loose much power if any, they handle well on hard dirt, still very good mud tire, just not an extreme swamp type tire, I don't know about their rock performance.
@@PowerModzOfficial my 2016 rancher dct turns 28 outlaws good but it’s also got a gear reduction but I wa thinking ab these tires
78th!
What kind of wheels are those
Sedona riots
How do they perform in deep snow say 24 inches ?
not good
I just put these on a foreman 500...haven't had time to really put them to work...one thing for any one reading this if you are putting them on a 500 Foreman or Ruby I would get the 9 wides on all 4 corners...I got fattys on the back and the skinnys on the front and the fats being heavier robbed a little more power than I thought they would...and oddly enough they're a couple pounds heavier but they are barely wider than the 9s...you really aren't gaining anything but weight with the fats on the rear
And I forgot to mention mine are 28s...if they're smaller than 8s it prolly doesn't much make a diff on a 500 honda
What front bumper is that
On which one?
Probably do better in skag with 11 wide in the rear.
