With the terrible virus making its move, I’ve been asked if I had a recipe for a simple no-nonsense hand sanitizer. My research reveals that whatever you make using an alcohol base it needs to be at least 60% or higher alcohol. My reason for keeping this as simple as possible is because in an emergency it might not be that easy to gather more than several key ingredients.

Into a 100ml plastic bottle I add:
80% of 70% isopropyl alcohol
20% 100% pure aloe vera gel
Shake to combine and only use in emergencies.

Hello Astar !! I keep a little bottle vinegar around and rub a little of that on my hands sure they may stink for a minute but it doesn't redden my hands like alcohol
Perfect explanation with excellent demonstration 👌👌👌. Am definitely gonna try this method 😊. Thank you from India.
Your right I carry soap.and a small container of water to wash my hands. It's safer for me. But good information. Looking beautiful.as always.Take Care
Good idea
It's so nice to hear your lovely voice ! It makes me have a sense of normalcy. Much love and please stay safe 🙏 !
Cheers Aster! Great recipe. Just what we need for in our pocket. I believe there is a huge difference between being sensible and being paranoid. ❤

Thank you dear Astar, will do this, Luxembourg is all locked up, a scary feeling but we need to get trough this.
Can I use also vera OIL ?? instead of gel ?and
YOur recipe reduces the alcohol to below 60%. You have misunderstood completely. The total mix has to end up as 60%+ alcohol. 80% of 70% ends up at 56%. You need a stronger alcohol, isopropyl at 90% +
Thank you so much, take care from Sharon in the UK x.
Very nice video. Thank you for the post.
🙂 thank you!❤
Thankyou from Australia 🇦🇺❤️
Thank you from Nebraska, USA!
Thank you so much for sharing . God bless you. X x x
Sorry , but you have watered that down to under 60% alcohol. You need to start with an alcohol 90% or more to get a finished product in the 70% range. There is formulation calculator at lotioncrafters.com, use that before giving anyone the hand sanitizers you made. Stay safe, stay home, stay well🙏
@peaceandlove What people have to know is to stay positive! Fear is infecting people's minds. Stay positive, Stay smart, Stay safe,✌and ❤
Alabaster Kros. STAY responsible, this won’t work and Covid19 is a deadly virus
@@jean405 Hence she states handwashing is the best. She offers a choice. Yes I know very well its a RNA virus. Staying positive is responsible too. Takecare ✌All the best for you and yours.
80% of 70 is 56.... supposed to be a minimum of 60.
i did this and it just went lumpy like badly knocked up wall paper paste
I can't find the aloe vera gel here in the US. Things are really scary right now.
You can use glycerin. Buy actual aloe leaf from market and peel skin off and put meat chunks in clean cheese cloth or pantry hose and squeeze . Can also use baby / coconut gel it's like aloe/glycerin has polymer carbomer already in it to help glide and thicken alcohol .
I found some in a Latin grocery store. Will be going tomorrow
Try some of the hair stores for aloe vera gel.

DO NOT USE this video to create a hand sanitizer. Does not meet 60% CDC minimum alcohol.
❤Thank you❤

Thank you dear n Jesus bless y’all in your country amen 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💜💜💜
Mine became a big gloop in the alcohol
So did and does mine but with a good shake it's good to go. Possibly not up to WHO standards but because I can't get the good stuff it does the job in EMERGENCIES.
You are so pretty girl
'll I hace at home is 99.99. And 70 %

I don’t think this lady understands math
Useless as usual, no rubbing alcohol to be found anywhere. Try making air without oxygen.
Such a helpful video. Thank you from Australia.
