      The one flat lay with other items looks really good but most of us are probably selling crew necks so it’s not even useable for that. :-(
      I’ve already used the lady in front of the stairs in a couple of my listings.
      I hope maybe one day there will be some wall art with multiple frames 4, 6 and 9 would be good.

      Hi, may I request to have more px dimension enough so that I can use it as etsy listing image ( 2000*2000 px )?

    This is so great! Mock-ups are one of the biggest pains and this could definitely help alleviate that. I know on another comment you said more are coming and I can’t wait to see what you guys make. I would hope that you are perusing Etsy and other sites for inspiration so that mock-ups from our kittl accounts will fit in nicely (and hopefully even be a little better) over there. Women’s shirts are especially big on Etsy so I’d hope to see more options in kittl for those. Also, the current flat lay mock-ups available on kittl are lacking, honestly. Only the one with other items (shoes, paper, camera,etc) is useable, in my opinion. Cannot overstate how much I love the functionality and how well the designs go on (like a smart layer in photoshop). So far it’s good and I know it’s only gonna get better. You guys are doing great things! Love the YT content too!

    Are the clothing mockups from a specific brand such as Bella Canvas, Gildan, etc? I'm concerned about accurate representation of the actual shirt.
    Also, I have a suggestion. It would be very beneficial to create mockups based on products carried on platforms such as Printify. It would make this task so much easier. Printify is really weak on most of their mockups, especially women's clothing.

    • @Kittldesign
      @Kittldesign  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the feedback. These are just simply mockups, not currently integrated with a POD provider. It is very important to do research to see how closely they will resemble print on demand platforms. We like to refer to what our friend Heather Johnson says, which is that a physical version in your hand will always be the closest reference point. This being said, there will of course be some variability when you use mockups to display what a product will look like. We also suggest finding the hex codes provided by the print providers to get as close a color as possible to the mockup as they describe in the platform. Oftentimes even their mockups differ from the physical product. Of course we will be adding tons of more product mockups over the coming weeks. This is just the beginning. Hope this helps!

    • @tracienielson7183
      @tracienielson7183 Год назад +3

      @@Kittldesign Thanks for the quick reply! In addition to color, I am also concerned about the actual physical characteristics of the item. For instance, Bella Canvas 3001 shirts have a specific sleeve length, neck width, etc. I'm worried about using an inexact mockup and having a customer upset because the item doesn't match the photo. I just bought your Pro subscription and am excited about seeing what it can do.

    • @JohnVanderbeck

      @@Kittldesign I think Tracie's point, and i'd like to echo it as well, is please have mockups that actually are using the more popular specific shirt brands that we pretty much all sell. I don't want to show a mockup on a Gildan when i'm selling a Bella Canvas for example. This is very important, and one thing that MyDesigns does very well. I love your mockups shown in this video and stoked to finally see one that actually uses the wrinkles in the shirt instead of being flat, but the shirt brands need to be matched. This is way too impoortant.
      Also the mockups need to indicate somewhere what the product actually is so we know what we are looking at.

    Question. I understand that 16"x20" is the size to use for T-shirts. But when using the mockups the design starts off small and have to resize. But how do I know I'm resizing correctly on the mockup so it doesn't look different from what my customer is actually getting? I hope that made sense.

    • @Kittldesign
      @Kittldesign  Год назад +1

      Hey there! We strongly suggest looking at the print on demand providers specifications for t-shirts and other products so that you can get a close representation to what a customer will receive. Mockups are only meant to be live examples of what your design could look like, but nothing will give you a more realistic example then holding the product in your hand first. Most print on demand suppliers have their own grids and bounding boxes to show you where the design will be printed, and you can use that as a guide to see where you can place your design on our mockups! We are also currently working on ways to incorporate more specific sizes, types, and colors that are popular in the print on demand style that will help as well.

    Drew, one thing I noticed seems odd. If I use the mockup generator with a Kittl design that has a colored background, some of the designs show the color background (such as a badge color like red or blue), but other designs the background goes transparent when shown on the mockup (which is not what I want to have happen). If I create a badge design, with a color, I expect the badge's background color to appear on the shirt too. For example, a red badge should appear on a black t-shirt. But, for some of my designs I have tried so far (new to the tool), Kittl shows the design without the badge background color, just the text appears on the shirt.

    Drew, I tried it, (before seeing this video), and thought it was AMAZING, because of its easy to use features (intuitive interface). I was really impressed by how easy it is to use, and the smooth integration into the Kittl platform. I found it much easier than a competing platform's similar generator. So, cudos to the Kittl Developers for the integration! Also, the Kittl promotional website page for the Mockup (and for Kittl AI) is also very good (nicely designed and informative).
    My suggestion: Kittl needs some mockups that have a range of expressions on them. Don't just get models who look like they are depressed, or too serious, or only showing "attitude" though I know that is popular with younger audience. There is a big market for women who like garments with some joy and happy slogans, etc. So, please also get some mockups with models that look "happy" and active. Also, really need to see some mockup of older models (especially men and women in their 50s and 60s), as the older generation wears t-shirts. And I highly recommend getting models that are in the "family man" or "outdoor man" genre too, as that is an underrepresented demographic in the mockup sites I have seen. Women like to buy men shirts, and showing a mockup of a good looking mature man, may help move the buyer to select that product for her man. One of the most popular mockups I saw was a guy with beard and gray hair, and the reason it is so popular is because it fits a demographic age group. I don't mean just guys with beards, but consider some guys in their 30s, 40s, 50s. So, make sure to gather some "older" model mockups too. :)
    Of course mature women wear t-shirts too, so make sure to get some "mom" or mature women models too (30s, 40s, 50s), and since "Mother's Day" means any age woman, get some models that are in their older years too (50s, 60s, even 70s). Boomer's wear t-shirts too.

    I am enjoying Kittl, however the mockups leave a lot to be desired. I need better photos of Black & Brown women with nice hair in all situations pls & thx!

    everything on kitty is coming out great except the mockups, they're coming out blurry, yes I've tried different browsers and everything but the quality still sucks and Im paying for it also

      Hey there, this is not an issue we've encountered. Have you reached out to our customer support yet? Our mockups download in high resolution, so they should not be blurry unless you are opening them in some sort of software that is compressing them.

    Excellent tool Drew. I'm wondering if you can add color palettes from the major PoD suppliers?
