Good video Thanks . I have tried almost any brand rearview mirror glue with no succes . There is a video on yt thats says you can use rtv Silicone so i have tried that today and will see if it holds . Otherwise i am going to order this and try it again after many times on my bronco. I also used the permatex rear view mirror glue on my old dodge pick up and it holds up very strong but on my ford i tried it atleast 5 times . Thanks for the video

You know what i have learned about this? i have a couple of older Mustangs and on my 91 Convertible i had hell with the rearview mirror, i would put it on and a month later it was on the ground etc, i tried sanding the glass, using just about every brand of adhesive out there etc,i did this for about 2 years and finally i got tired of it and left it off.
Couple of years ago i was reading a article about this guy that had gone thru the same thing and he mentioned something that made the light bulb come on in my head, he mentioned that normally, once we get the button glued to the glass and after several hours/day or so of waiting we adjust the mirror because of course we have to put the mirror were we like it or where it works for us right?
Well, what i had always done was to grab the whole mirror and move it where i needed it to be, he said...DON'T DO THAT,grab it by the arm behind the glass, basically hold that smaller arm with your hand while you move the glass with your other hand, since i started doing that that rearview mirror hasn't fallen off once in 2 years, i even have hit it by accident while getting groceries out of the car and very carefully ill grab the smaller arm and moved the mirror back where it needs to be, zero problems.
I figured i would share my experience, might not work for you but its worth a shot,ii just used the regular stuff from the parts store and cleaned everything real nice and left it overnight then put the mirror back on the next day and its been there ever since, couldn't be happier.

@dntlss thanks for the information and yes you are correct about grabbing it by the arm behind the mirror and adjust it that way that is the correct way to adjust the mirror. Also i have solved the problem by using rtv silicone and it really is a strong bond . I never thought that rvt silicone would be so strong to keep the mirror in place . There was a older gentleman on RUclips that shows it so i tried it and could not be happier . Thank you for the reply
