The game is amazing, the only bad thing are some puzzle designs that there is no way to know what to do and the Boss battle designs that are more about being luck or level up the character than being good at playing and see the enemy movement
I love Jesper Kyd but i kind of disagree. Darksiders 2 music has't impacted me as much as darksiders 1 music did. But i love Jesper Kyd other game musics alot ^_^

I have all three currently in fact (got the remastered 1 & 2 + DLC all with the pre-order of D3 :D), but I gotta say that D1 really left a bad taste in my mouth. Those repetitive fucking puzzles began bothering me so quickly that by the time I reached Abbadon I just wanted it to end. D2 is probably among my top 3-5 favorite games of all time, right up there with Dark Souls III, Assassin's Creed Black Flag and Fallout 4 and such. I mostly just like D3 for its uniqueness. They made up for their smaller budget by some unique game traits like the Hollows. I miss Jesper Kyd though.
Personally Fury is my favourite of the Horseman because she's so sassy and her playstyle is so unique. And with the Hollows her skills are so diverse. There is nothing more satisfying than countering an enemy projectile by throwing a lightning bolt directly to their face. Ultimate Badass.

2 years late but the whip and other forms Scorn takes are due to Fury's magic, the elemental and counter attacks though done through physicap means are magic attacks and the wrath attacks are also arcane based. She just doesn't use spells in the conventional manner
Good game but I rate it 3rd in the series as far as game play. I'm not done with it yet but I am close to wrapping it up. I'll play it twice. Great series overall. I love theology so this game goes well with my life's research for the truth.

I remember playing Sands of Time and taking so long on that final battle BEFORE the Visier fight. That music was epic.
