At 30:51 Nero finally got damaged, even after TREMENDOUS! effort by Donguri. This shows that just how much weak Nero's movesets are compared to both Dante and Vergil. Seems Nero is really a deadweight after all, both in story and gameplay. And that is why creators just didn't use him as a boss against Vergil in DMC5 SE. They knew he will be just become a punching bag for gamers AND newcomers too. 😂😂
My personal take on the characters Vergil - is basically playing the game on easy mode on any level you play with'em on Dante - pulling off combos with him hit different since there is sooo much with'em Nero - combat is more simple, easier to get the hang of, but still is alot if fun V - is literally sit back and relax or just taunt and enjoy the show of the demon
vergil likes his combat close and personal, cuz it feels moar POWERful, DANTo dosent care, fights everything, and nws in everything, Nero is more of a grappler, flying around and shooting till he can go in and finish fast, and v is a summoner, just using his movements to distract enemys while his minions kill them, also, V and vergil have very similar concepts, one ranged atack, one melee atak and a "ultimate" that is a super POWERful monster. also vergils nightmare is to be like V, to depend on others rather than having the power himself, the yamato is a extension of his body , much like a "shadow", and for shooting things you need to see them, so the "bird like creature that sees and shoots things ", and at last the "ultimate thats destroys everything" but the nightmare is that vergil is not the one to have the power, but the one to bend it, thats why the creatures materialize when vergil split his soul, his fears became real, his instincts became real, but he was not the one to hold the power anymore, rather he would comune with those of limited power, in order to unite them, and bend them to his demonic will.
Nero is the easy mode character imo being easy to learn easy to master with reliable damage all throughout his moveset, Dante is someone you've really gotta put your homework in with being the hardest and most complex character in the game but once you've mastered him nothing in the game can truly touch you, Vergil is a middle-ground between Nero and Dante having a smaller and more dedicated/precise moveset you can commit to like Nero, but with plenty of room to free-style like you would with Dante, Vergil snaps the intended game design balance over his knee but he doesn't truly become "easy-mode" until you've mastered his gimmick of maintaining concentration and using his summoned swords/doppleganger to manipulate the enemies, V is when you look at the styles of all of the above and opt for a niche "alternative" style instead.
Every new video I get more and more impressed, not only by Donguri's skills, wich are outstanding, but for how deep DMC mechanics are, is just crazy. Excellent work man, keep it up.
Donguri over here doesn't even need to do SWORDTRICKSWORDTRICKSWORDTRICK anymore now that aerial rave is built into DSD. He's just styling on all of us for the hell of it. And I couldn't be happier
