Vergil is just way to outrageously overpowered in this game. Though he is fun to use.

Dante is actually more overpowered but vergil devil mode in devil mode is pretty overpowered
dante is overpower as fuck in this, literally he is opness being playable. It is also hard to master. I think thats why the series are kinda lost, how to make dante vulnerable again? or a better gameplay, dante dmc4 is perfection lols...however i do feel vergil more op because I like his style more since dmc3, is easier than dante with all these styles, weapons, and DT Vergils is broken af.
Dante is fuckin god tier if used properly especially because of royal guard and trickster, practically untouchable. Vergil is a monster too though.
Mad Mike well nero too has its cons i find playin nero on dmd is better than dante since i'm not that good with him anyway nero charged blade also hard to timing fak it..
People who disliked this video tried hard to do the same thing but they drastically failed.

More likely than not, you're just gonna see him staring at his controller (or keyboard), and the buttons (or keys) pressing themselves, too afraid of what he'd do if they disobeyed him.

The way you play Dante is truly something else.
EndLessDream it's really just style spams is all. attacking wise is something else as he has everything down to a tee. but as for dodges it's just turbo mode trickster back right left forward dodge in repetition. his main styles are trickster to royal with occasional sword in case they get to close. gunslinger he hardly ever uses unless in the air for pandoras box and even then he mainly use trickster/ royal in the air. dark slayer he totally disregards as he shouldo because it doesn't do equivalent damage as opposed to potential damage with other styles
it's just keeping all that in mind and using it in tandem that's the hard part. play for a month solid 8 hours a day and you should get close to the levels he's attained. granted his is mastery from a lifetime but hardcore grinding should present similar growth in terms of skill
Agreed, but like you said it is pretty hard to keep all that in mind when switching the styles so quickly. I've only been able to play pretty well with Vergil and Trish and they're not even the main characters lmao.

That final Dante vs Dante fight in Deicida Must Die mode looks like a battle between fucking gods.
an enemy dante using fucking weapons so it's resetting combo easily and this last bodyguard took %60 hp from donguri x)
It's like watching two high ranking players go against each other in pvp.

It looks like a DMC4: SE GMD Dante without the health regeneration. I saw no Dreadnaught, so... I've also never heard of Deicida Must Die.

The mode is in a debug mode Flemia created. SpoilerAL for SE defies Japanese version of DMC4SE, so he made one handling JP version. Anyway, I don't know so much about Deicida Must Die yet, but its mode is as difficult as or maybe more hard than GMD.
+donguri990 Thanks. Found the site. Hopefully someone will translate and/or incorporate into the English one. Didn't think the Jp and En version were so different as to refuse mods from one another.
Looking forward to seeing more of that deicida thing. Though , I think they are the same thing.

For example, your DRI deals A LOT of damage to him. Mine barely does 1/10th of hp. D:

+timmy10923 It just makes me want a PvP Devil May Cry even more. Think about it: Ranked matches, Leaderboards and rankings, maybe even free-for-alls or team battles. THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS. Only thing we would have to do would be to nerf Vergil slightly, give everyone all of the abilities and there we go: A DMC PvP game. And maybe have some form of combo breaker in place.
+VikingPotatoes sees donguri unplugs Ethernet router modem and PC. Stays offline for 2000 years because that's how long it took sparda to die.

Seeing how epic the 1v1 boss battles are with other sword/gunslingers in the DMC games makes me want an online duel mode where you can have battles with people using the different characters.

Ever heard of Stinger, Dash, and Royal Guard? Unless you're playing as Nero. Then I dunno what you'd do.
+Drae the Flame Deity Well multiplayer would be too unpredictable for me at least to use RG, true that you can use dash and you're not going to even try stinger in multiplayer, even the AI has counters for that, live players will have plenty of tricks up their sleeves. The devs will be forced to balance multiplayer and this may cause the special edition characters' singleplayer to be thrown off balance. The devs will definitely need some time to balance. Once that happens, hopefully getting hit by harder to avoid attacks gives more DT or something for you to counter attack. Still, I don't want to meet donguri as Dante nor ChaserTech as Nero.
Blitz Creeper Have original and altered modes. One of the aspects of Devil May Cry is its difficulty. I'd rather play with the original settings.
