Almost 21 weeks pregnant and just found out they found a choroid plexus cyst at the base of my baby girl’s brain. They say it’s commonly found and usually resolves itself but 1-3% chance that it won’t and that it’ll cause Down syndrome. We will love our baby no matter what but naturally, I’m very worried. We would love any prayers we can get and I will pray for you, Sarah, to have a healthy pregnancy ♥️

Feeling so thankful that the Lord has given me this opportunity and praying so hard for it to be healthy and to be able to carry full term.

Regarding WEIGHT GAIN: I just want to remind all those mamas-to-be to let your body do whatever it does! I am on the opposite side- I had three kids and I gained between 55-70 lbs each time, even when being really healthy and taking care of myself well. Everyone is different. Don’t ever feel bad about not gaining “enough” or gaining “too much” as long as you know you are taking care of yourself 💞

I had my first son at 25 weeks in January. He lived 10 days. My heart is still broken but I have hope in a rainbow baby as soon as my body and mind are healed. I’ve been avoiding pregnancy content (which is hard because it’s all I’ve watched for months) and this is the first video I’ve watched about pregnancy since he’s been gone. When I was pregnant my husband ordered pizza for dinner, he told me he ordered one kind of pizza, then changed his mind and ordered a different one. He didn’t tell me before we picked up the pizza. When I opened that box and saw, in my mind “wrong pizza” I turned into a blubbering mess! Tears pouring down my face when 15 seconds earlier I was smiling and so excited for pizza! So strange how our emotions are so greatly effected!

This trimester vlog idea is so cute! I’m currently almost 19w and I can definitely relate to the bad dreams in the first trimester. A lot of that stuff felt like spiritual attacks for me but you are right, it’s an opportunity to cry out to the Lord and put our trust in Him. My dreams have gotten a lot better since then (and totally random but at least it’s fun). Praying for you and your family, so excited to follow along with your journey and feel like I’ve got a Canadian gal pal to share this pregnancy with!

I gave birth to my little girl 6 weeks ago and with her pregnancy I also severely craves sour candy. I tried to keep it to a min but gave in every now and then. Btw. Cut some grapes in half and add some lime or lemon juice. Totally satisfies the sour candy craving without the gunk that's usually in sour candy

I agree. With all my pregnancies I worked out. I ran a marathon and marched a marathon in full gear for the military when I was pregnant with baby1. Baby2 I was running and also lifting and I cycled cross country. Baby3 I had been competitive CrossFit and powerlifting and wasn't stopping. I actually hit a PR for my deadlift and my clean while I was pregnant. Movement is incredibly important. Just listen to your body, that is the most important thing.

Just watched this now as I recently found out I am pregnant for the first time. I'm 7 weeks and 3 days today.
As for the nausea, it's gotten really bad for me about a week ago. I feel sick, but so hungry at the same time, it's the worst feeling I've ever had in my stomach. I found that eating something helps it a bit though. Feeling very tired this week.
I've just also had my first appointment and was told that I can continue to exercise as long as I don't get too much out of breath while doing it. I should be able to have a conversation when working out the lady told me. Working out so hard that you can't talk while doing it, is not recommended (at least her ein the UK).
I am sure your vlog is very helpful for a lot of new Mommies out there!

8 weeks pregnant, had just found out, my husband and I went camping and we brought the necessary things to have cereal.
So I sat down in a camping chair and had my cereal bowl in my lap, something happened and half of the beautiful bowl of cereal dumped all over my lap. I legitimately "food cried" for like 10 minutes and my husband tried not to laugh at me and then he gave me his cereal. Yes I cried more when he gave me his 😂😂. Whaaaa?!? Exercising is so good for you when you’re pregnant!!
shouldn’t do it to the extent that you would before pregnancy or if doctor tells you not to, but it’s still good.

You are so inspiring! I've always been a pretty active person, but pretty much the minute I got pregnant I felt like I got hit by a truck. I've been sooooo nauseous. I'm 16 weeks and it's just now getting better, but because I've been in bed pretty much since the beginning, it's been hard to get up and do anything, let alone my regular work outs.

I'm 21 weeks 1 day nausea has overstayed and I'm ready for her to leave. I'm still taking meds for it but some days it's not enough. Energy is day to day thing. I'm just laying on the floor watching this video because it feels good 🤣
We found out we're having a boy and I'm struggling to come up with a name
Prayers we all continue to have a healthy and smooth pregnancy ❤️🙏

Omg people who tell pregnant women they should not be working out drives me crazy! Pregnancy and labor puts our body through a lot and staying active can be a great thing! Especially if the woman works out regularly prior to pregnancy. Not to mention exercise is great for mental health. You keep doing you, Sarah! Wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy and birth! ☺️

I'm in the middle of a tough recovery of a surgery my 10mo son just had. It ended up with some complications and a 10 day stay in the hospital, and have now been home for several days, but my poor babe still needs to lie still so he doesn't re-open the surgery wound, and you can imagine that for a 10mo that is basically hell. And same for his mama.
We were sort of TTC before all of this happened, but now I'm kind of feeling way too overwhelmed to think of another pregnancy right now.
But love watching your cute bump grow, Sarah. And loved watching your videos while I was in the hospital!

It's absolutely fine to exercise when you're pregnant - you juat have to monitor a little more how tired you get. Also: if you bleed after, you should be careful and consult your doctor or midwife.

I’m a prenatal/postnatal fitness instructor 🙋🏼‍♀️ it’s definitely recommend to workout before, during, and after pregnancy. Listen to your body, don’t do anything that could hurt yourself, and look up modifications as you get further along in your pregnancy but YES working out during pregnancy is amazing! Working out during pregnancy can lessen chance of Diastasis Recti, shorten labor and recovery time, and keep energy levels up during pregnancy. ACOG recommends it. Which in America is the leading authority on pregnancy do’s and don’t’s. It’s even recommended to start walking as soon as you can after birth and you don’t have to wait 6weeks to start working out again PP either. Once again, just listen to your body ❤️

I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant, feeling overall good. It’s our first baby so it’s definitely been a hard transition for me and my body changes but I am getting more excited as his due date comes! Definitely taking your advice on calling out to God during labor. I can truly say I’ve never trusted God more in my life than I do now.

In a real life when people have three kids there is hardly any time left to think about how I am feeling, what I am eating and focus so much on me. I still don't know how you get all that time. You are a super woman.

CONGRATULATIONS mama! You look stunning. So happy for ya Sarah.
I am pregnant. This is my 3rd boy. I’m due next month! I had no morning sickness this time either. Just felt off.
My midwife said it was likely due to better nutrition this time around! I’ll take it.
Oh and food crying is a thing. I lost it when the sonic slushee I waited for over a month to get was wrong. I sobbed like someone died. 😂
I also have my first anterior placenta with this baby. Never felt flutters with him just a jab at 19 weeks. I felt my other boys a good month before I did with pregnancy. So odd.
This is the most relatable pregnancy update I’ve seen. It sounds so similar to this pregnancy.
I also have been having major fear and panic surrounding my baby. Have to constantly give my son to God. And “surrender“ has become my word.
I’ll be praying for you and your pregnancy mama. ♥️

Becca : I found your delivery video with your 3rd and an excited for you and your family. I'm pregnant with my 5th baby (8th pregnancy). Feeling all the changes and excitement and anxiety (about loss with my 3 miscarriages), but I agree it's such a miracle to turn to the Lord and I am grateful for this privilege in being a cocreator with God & my husband to bring a precious life into this world. Good luck. I'm 28 weeks.

Your vidéos are so good! I'm a Frenchie 22 year old, married since 2019, and kinda scared of having kids, but your videos really help me. I'm an only child and not used to big family with lots of children. So motherhood seems like a blessing to me but also like such a responsibility and such a big change! We want to try to conceive in a few years but the Lord will show the way! ;)

Working out is actually encouraged through pregnancy because it makes labor a lot easier but of course listen to your body’s need and make sure that everything is comfortable when exercising! 😁

My sister owns a CrossFit gym, has four babes, worked out with each pregnancy, she's a rock star! You definitely should be careful to not start a hard core work out routine after you find out you're pregnant, but if you already have a routine before you get pregnant, keep going! It's so good for you and baby!

So exciting! I’m almost 33 weeks with a boy. He’s crazy active and the ultrasound tech called him a stinker at my 20 week ultrasound because he would not hold still. 😂 I am excited to meet him. Labor, in m opinion, is easier than the whole 9 mos of discomfort. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Here’s to your 2nd trimester! Cheers 🥂

Totally agree with being in shape and working my body out while pregnant. Also beneficial for my mind. Obviously our bodies can’t perform like they could pre-pregnancy, but moving our bodies is such a gift! Think of all the mommas in the Bible who farmed, worked, took care of the house while pregnancy. Best wishes to you, sar!

    Congratulations, Sarah!!
I am currently 38w5d with my second and soooooo ready for baby to be here! Just like you during my first tri I had so much nausea and I had to make sure I was eating to make sure I wouldn’t get sick. But unfortunately it lasted much longer than your nausea (stopped around my third tri) so this pregnancy has been much harder on me. I can’t wait to follow along on the rest of your pregnancy journey!!
