    You have to make a correction here. P4 can be made on barren AND Temperate planets.

    There two types of P4's
    One type where you have two P3's and One P1 input. They have a volume of 18+18+ 7.6 = 43.6 (less than 50 output)
    Second type you have three P3's 18+18+18 = 54. So the second type does reduce the volume in the output but only marginally.

    Taxes on the Customs Office MATTER check before building there. Just access customs office to see the rate.

    I have watch so many PI videos and I'm still confused. This feels like it could sell well as a Udemy course, though.

      I started a few weeks ago. Try getting into it by harvesting p0 and refining to p1 for sale. When you're comfortable doing that, expand to p2, etc...

      @@Needleer ChadNine is right; start with the lowest level & build from there. I think of it as recipes, but it's also similar to manufacturing. It's all A+B = C, just different levels & outputs.

    What is the point of making p0? Being as you can only have 10 extractors there is plently of pg and cpu to go ahead and turn it into p1. I dont quite understand this part.
    Secondly as far as null sec goes, epithal is by far superior. With a cloak, nullifier , and a stab or 2 you leave all other low slots for nanos and inertia stabs as well as hyperspatials and low friction nozzle joints for rigs. I dont wh so i assume thats diffrent but for null sec the epi is the best. By far faster, and massive m3.

      p0 is just the starting point!! use the tools we should to see where the real profit is

    I treat PI far differently from you. To me, I want to maximize factory up-time, so I've worked out what I need to keep my P4 factories running 24/7. I've minimized bottlenecks & top off / harvest every day. I don't maximize per planet, I just build what I need.

      more effort though right?
      If you want to scale to more planets you need to focus on reducing effort per planet. Otherwise you cap yourself out based on how much time you have to admin. Plus burnout of course.

      @AndyKauffman-ml3og Час назад

      @@roberthiggins8234 Not really more work, no. I gave up extraction & just buy P1 off the Market, so that helps keep my effort & admin actions low. It's just a daily task for me now, it takes me about 10 minutes per character to top off / pickup, & harvest my P4. The worst part is resetting my Buy Orders if I feel like it.

    You say it's more lucrative in NS and Pochven, but you haven't mentioned why. Do you generate more raw resources? If I'm just buying P2's to craft P3's, is my crafting speed reduced because I'm in HS?
    What exactly are all of the differences that will affect total profitability?

    • @lorumerthgaming
      @lorumerthgaming  16 часов назад

      NS, Wh, and Poch get higher PI yields than other areas of space

    • @jono_cc2258
      @jono_cc2258 16 часов назад

      the density is higher, whereas in High Sec a decent commodity can have 10-15% the same type of planet in Null, WH or Pochven may be 60-100% so the amount extracted per head is significantly higher.

    • @RamboMadCow
      @RamboMadCow 15 часов назад +1

      This all sounds like extraction rates though. Does this apply at all if I'm bringing P2 mats in to craft P3 like Loru showed in a previous PI video?

    • @AndyKauffman-ml3og
      @AndyKauffman-ml3og 15 часов назад +3

      If you're buying lower-level PI & upgrading it, there isn't a difference *in PI mechanics*. I emphasize PI mechanics because there may be other mechanisms involved. Prices are different in player-owned markets, safety is different in HS vs NS vs Pochven, etc. Also, POCO taxes are a thing. NS Blocs typically have low to no taxes compared to HS.
      As soon as you start extracting though, NS / Pochven / WH's are king.
