I couldn’t imagine the amount of time it probably took to build all of those ladder bridges on stick rock.. insanity.
I know hey? So much dedication and work.
Should've titled the video "The Loam Ranger gets dropped by a grom" hehe. That kid was seriously fast.
Can’t argue with that haha.
@@TheLoamRanger that's my friend! He's pretty sendy 😅
(He no brakes that section in case you where wondering)
"This was Ryan's idea..." haha, also Tom and Casey ...stoked to these guys riding and enjoying being on bikes...super cool
The fact that this is a whole family thing is what makes it so cool!
i swear I heard in there..."cant believe dad got us a free vacation from RUclips"
Intro music can never be *too* cinematic, right?? Right. Also, don't forget to check out Will's RUclips channel too! He's the fearless one leading me into Stick Rock: ruclips.net/user/WilliamMNSim
Wow, wonderful video! Looks like lots of fun! Great intro music too!
U underestimate youth
"Let's take it easy for the first trail of the day"
*hits the speed limit for a car on a normal road, but offroad and on a bike*
What a rad place to ride! Wooden rollercoaster for our bikes! Makes me want to live in Canada now.
So fun. I've got no complaints about being in Canada, that's for sure!
Oh my god!! The Trail builder deserves a medal and some Pinkbike hype
I snowboard a lot and just started mountain biking.. kicking horse was one of my favorites (the top is kinda sketchy in winter) and it never clicked we could ride there! Def put onto my todo list after this!
Absolutely! If you haven't checked out our ski biking vids, definitely do that. The most recent one is from Kicking Horse. :D
Love that you both are narrating. From a fellow parents perspective, it's awesome!
Thanks so much!
She says, sarcastically, “parents of the year, right?” Those kids are so lucky to have such cool parents who take them to amazing places out to mountain bike and get lessons from locals. I would love to have hada childhood like that
@@paulm9340 wow that’s aggressive
What an awesome place!! Sick trails and woodwork!!
For a channel that only dabbles in progression its super cool to see how much better everyone has gotten. Ryan, you're absolutely shredding in this one!
I appreciate that! I've felt really great on my bike this year.
100% awesomeness! Keep doing what you all do to inspire, motivate & endear more love for this sport 🙏👍😊
I love hearing both of you narrate these videos! Coolest parents in the universe
Man ya'll were sending it! Especially you Ryan, it's been fun watching you progress so much! Great edit too :)
Cheers Joe!
Love to see how much you've improved over the years!
Thanks Dan!
Oh my word!! The rock face on to that skinny northshore is just insane! Holding my breath just watching this! That is some serious guts! 😵🤟🏻
I got to ride kicking horse for the first time last weekend, I'm pretty sure I saw the same double rainbow!
Wow 🤩 what an amazing bike park and trails. And your kid is freakin fast , awesome 👏🏻🤘🏻
Place looks awesome! Adding it to my list of places to ride in BC.
Just wow! Looks amazing and super fun!
That looks like a ton of fun! dig the top of helmet footage. You guys got to kick some horse!
Looks awesome! BC looks like the place to ride. Many riding options.
Woooooow this Bike Park is Magic !
The passage on the planks is fabulous/insane/scary ! 🤩😱🤟
Thanks for sharing those moments !
Dang Casey can ride! Tom too :) Looking forward to taking my family riding at kicking horse eventually. Love the videos 🤜
wow I was down Kicking Horse back in 2003 or so (I was the field Eng building one of the bridges just East of Golden). things sure did change since then but the mountain still looks great...wow seems like lots of fun.
The Shred Family! As always...another great installment of The Loam Ranger! Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Kicking Horse ain't no joke. Good to see they've added a green trail in the alpine for the kids.
And a MUST place to ski the other part of the year!! Kicking rocks!!
Definitely!
That was such a fun day! Thanks for the shoutout
Always good riding with you man!
I think that is the first time I have ever seen a wooden catch berm 😂 gnarly for sure!
Haha same here. No room for error!
Never saw a trail like this one on the end. Incredible.
So good!
@@TheLoamRanger I wouldnt do it :)
I was missing you guys! 😊 Great music.
Such a cool place! And Tom and Casey totally shredded it!! 👍
Absolutely wicked video, love the dual commentary, you both have perfect voices for Voice Overs 😂
Not a bad area of Canada to be stuck in...that’s for sure. Since we won’t be making the annual pilgrimage...I will live vicariously thru You and maybe one or two other RUclipsrs...of course Loam Ranger is the go to!
I really liked the family aspect of these Kicking Horse videos. Keep it up.
Definitely going to have to check this place out in the future! Looks rad and beautiful!
It really is!
There's no better way to appreciate the flora, fauna, and the beautiful BC mountain views than slamming down the mountain on wooden trails that require the absolute focus needed to ride these trails1
Daniel is everywhere this summer! 👍
Really cool how you showed your kids shredding 🤙🤙🤙
Awesome video as always
Kicking horse looks so sick! We are going to have to add it to the list to check out!
WOW Perfect riding and nice landscape
Your videos are really well made! I can definitely tell the time put into them.
Thanks! I appreciate that.
You guys were making Pioneer look easy. Kicking Horse is awesome. But armour-up when riding there. So much pain awaits just off-trail.
Can't argue with ya there :D There's definitely some gnar on that mountain!
I like the familly concept! Great place and great video😉
So sick! Awesome country with amazing trails! The kids rode great and watching your videos over the passed few months i would definitely say your skill set and speed on a bike has significantly improved!
Thanks Dominoc!
@@TheLoamRanger thank you for putting up good content
Just wanted to say, I used to watch a bit of your channel and now your becoming one of my favourites,
Look forward to every post :)
What an awesome trail! Would love to hit that place up sometime.
Solid video! It is great to ride with the family.
Thanks!
Awesome vid! and that place looks amazing!
Thanks!!
Great work on that double black, Mrs. The Loam! Great video. Thanks!
She did awesome! Just a couple of spots she wants to hit and she hasn't stopped talking about them since. 😄
The Loam Ranger I’m in touch with that. I chickened out on Cruel and Unusual at Trestle and now I can’t stop thinking about it.
Your a great person Loam Ranger and u r a very under appreciated creator you make great stuff and u r a really great mountain biker thank you for great content...
Thank you so much!
The Loam Ranger hey u might not see this reply but I was wondering if you could watch some of my vids and critique my vids to make them better thanks
I’ve riden with Daniel many times and just wish that I could ride with you tubers like this one day it would be amazing with moose mtn at my back door!
So sweet dude!! My son and I need to go check this place out!! Side note.. those Oneup bars looks soooo nice! Def need to get a set.
Crazy wooden trails!
Absolutely!
wow that place looks amazing
I just discovered mountain biking a month ago. The season ends in two weeks, and you've convinced me that I have to go here now before that happens.
The intro music sounded like the start to a children's movie like home alone or something. Major de ja vu
Ha very true!
Pretty sure it's from How to Train your dragon?
@@xPyroxx that seems more suitable
You have such great trails over there...
I think Casey is coming to steal your channel 🤣😂 he is really getting good. Great riding guys, love that Beth is in more and more videos.
I think you're right. #retirementplan :D
OMG, this is DH @ it's finest. You guys are SOOOO lucky!
That wood feature is insane! It's like a bike rollercoaster
Looks amazing there!
It is!
Wish we had some of the terrain and views down in south Georgia that you guys have
That was epic movie type music during the intro! 😎 lol I typed that before I read your pinned first comment 😂
😁
Great vid! Idk how I missed it two weeks back...
Amazing place!!
That lil' grom was fast!
Agreed!
That place looks pretty sick!
Am from Calgary. Currently living in VanCity. Drive through Golden all the time. Will have to check out K Ho!!!
Definitely do that!
love the music on vid's, so good
That is a SICK trail ... looks like freakin' ALICE IN WONDERLAND!!!
Kicking Horse looks awesome!!
So riding with you on the ladders. Have to get there....
Awsome ride ! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Thanks !
Sweet, I'll have to add this to my list whenever they open the borders again.
I'm not up to your speed, would have to hang with Beth, lol.
Holy rollercoaster batman. I am not skilled enough (yet😏) to tackle that much skinny. But I would "little engine that couldn't" the eff out of it. I'm jelly you get to ride with your family. Mine are bums lol
Wow.. that’s sick!
Looks awesome 😎
It was!
The Loam Ranger I was holding my breath as you were on those fast skinnies😅
The music made your intro so epic
Amazing dude
There's an illegal trail in my area (sort of, 3 hour drive) that is so much like that wood trail. It's crazy how much woodwork they put into it and it's just a community made bike park.
Wow! Just WOW! Amazing video including your awesome family. This is a masterpiece video! You're so lucky to have your whole family involved. Can they ever shred!!!
Thank you so much!
And cool video!! Of course.
Anyone else think the intro music sounded like a how to train your dragon movie! 🍿 😅
Sick video
Thats so sick
Looks amazing....some open stuff to haul ass and some sweet tech!
There's a bit (well, a lot, really) of everything!
Absolutely awesome trails, damn dude. And it sounded like there's something loose on Beth's bike? Maybe the headset?
Ya I heard that. Turned out to be her water bottle mount. Good ear!
Great video - and awesome to see you guys in Whistler a couple weeks ago (when it was +35!). Question for you on Kicking Horse - although I would never recommend riding Whistler without a DH bike, what are your thoughts on riding kicking horse without one. Would an enduro with 160 upfront and 140 rear be enough?
Really interesting to see you guys riding a trail compared to the pros, epic video tho
I'm adding the feature at 14:46 to my bucket list
Bloody awsome! Great content and love the family vibe aswell.
Glad you enjoyed it
Golden and Revelstoke have ridiculous hotel pricing, glad you got sponsored for this.
You think so? I've always found Golden has really reasonable rates for a mountain town.
Just uses your link to get a new helmet. They are having a massive sale. So perfect timing
Hey Loam!, love your videos and. Just wondering how you got into mountain bike riding and how you started your channel?
Wow amazaing
This place looks amazing!! Going to be there for the first time in a little over a weeks time with the family. Is it possible to just cruise around the upper alpine area before heading down? I believe you eluded to that in a previous video but I don’t see these types of trails on the map. We love the channel as a family and really appreciate the work you all put. Just wondering how much longer it’s going to be until you add a “s” to end of the channels name? Second channel maybe? Family shred videos only.
Thanks! Haha ya, the singular "Loam Ranger" might have to change. So there is a climb trail in the alpine section of KH if you feel like staying up there for a while, which is nice. So much to explore!
