I found the two videos last year and I fell in love with them both. I've lost count of how many times I've watched them, but I never get tired of watching. The barn dance and the chase scene are still my personal favorite parts of the show but overall I love every minute of both casts.
Omg I remember when this was uploaded to RUclips. I’ve been RELIGIOUSLY watching this for years 😂 Funny to see I’m not the only one who keeps coming back
I was watching videos of Jacques D'Ambroise dancing and ended up watching this whole production.... I can't believe how flipping great these kids are.... It's 4am and I can't stop watching 😜
I've watched probably five performances of this play in the last couple of days, just, reasons, and this is absolutely the best version I've seen. Only one other even comes close. Milly makes or breaks this play. She is usually too aggressive to be believable, but this Milly got it absolutely spot on. I mean...wow. Not too timid, not modern feminism, just straight up a believable, strong, capable, and caring woman. And she can sing! Extremely well! I like Milly from cast 2 (yep, watched that one as well :) ), but I could never quite believe her as Adams wife. There was just too much...something...modern sensibility? I mean she was great, I just didn't think she understood the character as well as this one. And Adam is phenomenal! Great voice, good acting, and the right look for the part. Among the renditions I've seen he's second only to Howard Keel in my opinion. I like the semi-modern humor from some of the brothers while keeping it true to the spirit of the play and the time. And the supporting cast is really really good! Thank you so much for posting this enjoyable performance!
Bravo! Just watched both cast versions with Ms Beard and Ms Ray taking the role of Milly and they were both excellent! I have to admit, on my second viewing, it's so odd seeing Sarah and Dorcus become Milly depending on the version. I wonder if the actors playing Adam, Benjamin and Frank ever dropped a line because of it.. Either way, congratulations to everyone in making such a great show and excellent viewing!
Well this is an interesting version. I grew up watching the movie with my Grandmother. The movie will Always be my Favorite. I went on to love and look up everything following Jane Powell and Howard Keel. Sadly Jane was almost exclusively on stage rather than on film so it's incredibly difficult to find anything of her. This is pretty good though. They clearly had so much fun with this and leaned into the comedy hard. The brothers ad-lib jokes were great. 😂😂😂 The book was drastically different. I personally wish someone would make an adaptation inspired by both the book and musical.

This production is fantastic! Great singers, dancers, and acters. I just wish they had June Bride as one of the songs.
This is the best performance online! Great job!

This is one of the best versions of the musical that I have seen. The youngsters are doing a great job. Did anyone of them go on to performing?
1:18:47 Gideon is just too cute! He and Adam are so funny together.
Overall, a wonderful production.
The brothers made this show!!
This was my favorite cast out of the two!
Agreed, they have a lot more fun with it
