Roger Smith is the star watch! 95% made by hand, imagine that! Extraordinary! Proud he's British.

The Roger Smith is the only watch on the tray made almost entirely by Smith himself (apart from crystal, jewels, hairspring and mainspring). With the other watches, the watchmaker has sourced parts from various people - case maker, dial maker etc. Smith has mastered all of the various skills necessary to create an entire watch. And he is English ;)

It’s like me making a car from other car parts and reusing the engines. Just covers and technically it’s all new. But the real world is that all those parts come from the same place.

Appreciated the irony of horological aficionados’ detailing the disparity in the auction start times due to Europe’s changing their clocks a week before the States.

Watches are meant to be touched and felt. You can always clean them up when it’s all set and done

Your feedback is appreciated. Our apologies you are repulsed by non-wound watches. It’s a shame you couldn’t watch and still found time to comment. Thank you kindly.

@@EsperLuxe no worries, you're not like them. I realized you wanted them to play the dufour, but he didn't, for a very strange and unknown reason.
