I'm not sure if I'm more amazed at Rogers dedication to his craft or the interviewers dedication to his hair. Absolute precision hair spring work from both men.

The Daniels method lives on in Roger W. Smith, and both George Daniels and Smith have helped push British watchmaking back into the limelight, ushering in new brands too: Garrick Watches, anOrdain, Stuthers, Charles Frodsham, Warwick Watches, and more! 👏🏽⌚🇬🇧

Great insight; these are the kind of interviews that are historically essential.
To deviate slightly: can I ask watchmakers to consider the humble desk clock and it's potential - the form has so much potential.

I had a 1988 Milano Gold. I had a love/hate relationship with it. Driving was wonderful, but repairs were difficult, even when it was new. Eventually, it developed an intermittent problem; sometimes it would not start and it would have to be towed fifty miles to the Alfa repair shop. A wonderful but problematic car

The question was, not verbatim, Are you the only watchmaker here? My understanding of the meaning, accurate or not, is that every person I see working on them is considered a "watch maker", yes?
