I think feeling gross after surgery is very normal. I felt that way after I had my gallbladder out and when I had a procedure done on my elbow. Didn't really seem to matter how many showers I took. I felt off as well. Anesthesia is no joke-it can really do a number on a person's body-takes awhile to bounce back. You're a gal on the go, so laying around (even though your body is healing) is hard for you (I'm the same way.). Glad your parents were there for you and you were able to get some rest.
