you could plant the basil outside! I got a basil plant (mine was from a plant nursery) and put it in a pot and it grew really well outside! you have to trim it when it starts to flower though, and water it regularly (they can dry out if in too hot sun).

Yes food combinations are so important!!! Sugar on top of protein and carbs ferments in your stomach 😳 I also struggle w bloating so I try to eat dessert or have any fun or sugary drinks an hour before or after meals. This vlog as so sweet and the love your friends and family are showing you is so touching 🥰🥰

Congrats on the engament! I have super straight hair and I do the airwrap curls as soon as I get out of the shower with my hair 35% dry and they last for days. Then I go over with a straighner in the wavy parts.

Use the Dae styling cream gel in your hair before air wrap!!! It smells so good and doesn’t feel like normal gel, it helps so much!!

I keep my basil on my island so it gets sunlight but it’s not burning directly under a window, idk if I’ve seen a good spot in your gorgeous kitchen, but your dining table might work well! I also put an ice cube in my pot everyday instead of watering
TOTALLY agree about the bloating with food + alcohol.... i can either do one or the other but not both at the same time!!
You could always get a silicone ring to wear if you wanted something more casual. That’s my fav thing to do!

AIR WRAP TIP!! G, i have the same hair as you girl and its tough getting styles to stay. I don’t have the air wrap but i have the shark and an amazing hair stylist who gives the best tips so i will share my knowledge!!
To make curls stay, make sure you do a blowout with product before any style. Whether you use mousse or a style holding spray, Kevin Murphy everlasting blow dry is amazing, it helps hold for much longer. I will do a blow dry, then curl it with the air wrap, then use rollers, use the kevin murphy doo over finishing spray and let them sit while i do my makeup. Then i take them out, style it and do a final spray! (If you dont have rollers you can use your fingers to roll your hair and use bobby pins)
You should try curling your hair with a straightener. My hair has the hardest time holding a curl and the straightener curls stay the best! The Dyson iron is great for this!

I have very fine hair thats naturally straight and doesn't like to curl at all! I've found that heavy products like oils and texture products weigh my hair down a lot. so I started to use hair foam by aveda that is made for fine hair so its super light and doesn't weigh my hair down but gives just a bit of help to hold a curl better. but ive heard the air wrap has that issue in general!

For the bloating as well I have noticed when I’m with people when you talk and laugh and the same time as eating air comes in and it can cause bloating. That what I’ve noticed for me at least!
Try putting mousse through your hair before curling! You could also try a texture spray instead of hairspray after :)
I wait to eat pretty often between coffee and water... meals... I drink first and eat after. It helps me.
Hi Gretchen! Try using a thinner wand like a 1 inch. The curls will hold for longer, and when they fall out
your hair won’t go completely straight
Also wait until curls have “cooled down” before hairspraying

Congratulations! I loved the photoshoot footage! You need more moisture in your hair so it can hold curls. Try deep conditioners or hot hair oil treatments. I would ask your hair lady for product recommendations. I hear Olaplex does wonders for hair that is colored frequently.
Its better to use coconut oil if ur cooking with high heat to avoid AGEs, u can add a pinch of salt to get rid of the coconut flavor

Do you hairspray your sections, brush, curl, hold them spiraled in your hand for a few seconds (or cold blast them) then spray again at the end? If you already do this then idk. I have thin hair like you. Not colored tho.

Tbh I think the curls fell out Bc if that hairspray is the Moroccan oil ogx hairspray it makes my curls fall right out too. I could be wrong about you using Ogx, but I swear by the L’Oréal elnett hairspray it’s chefs kiss
I think the hair problems is because of the damage. My hair never stayed when it was heat and color damaged and I have naturally curly hair. But once I cut my hair off and started my healthy hair journey, it stays curled all day and even a few days if I wanted it to. But anyways. Congratulations to you and Max!! Been here for a while and am so excited to see y'all's relationship grow!

I don't know why people who have lived together for a while celebrate an engagement in such a big expensive way, it seems overkill especially hiring someone to take pictures. Is your diamond a lab grown diamond, it looks like it? Pretty. Please consider decreasing the amount of times you touch and or play with your hair.........I bet it is about 50 times a video, very annoying.
You should try the Mielle hair oil. I use it overnight and it healed my hair so much and the textur is sm better 🩷

I have thin and long bleached hair too, I find it comes out better with lower heat and an actual curling wand. Higher heat or even curled by the salon never stays in! 🩵
I recommend you grow your own Herbs. They’re not hard to grow. You have plenty of light in your kitchen. 😎👍🪴
