Just got rid of my 2011 Honda pilot with almost 200k miles on it! Kept up with maintenance and treated her right and only had an issue with the alternator around 130k. Got a 2021 Jeep wrangler so I’m hoping for the best 🤞🏼
I’ve definitely found that Honda/Acura or Toyota/Lexus have been the most reliable low maintenance cars! I drive an Acura RDX and I love! I’ve also loved the Honda pilot in the past ❤
I think it is great you love and appreciate your car like you do! Coco is a cherished gem. Personally, I just do not like the idea of my stuff owning me; I like to own it and therefore I keep cars. I have an x5 myself and she has been super good to me. I have not reach a point where the repairs are too much (and I am a single mom, single income household) and I plan to keep her for years to come!!
My Mom had a Jeep Cherokee, the color of yours, and I absolutely loved it, but the time came when it was costing too much to maintain, so she traded it in for a Ford. 😭
Toyota will literally last you forever!!! I have a Lincoln Corsair and it's definitely more "lux" but I miss not having to worry about maintenancewith a Toyota. My husband has a VW with 300k on it and still drives over 100 miles a day on it. routine maintenance is key!! Also have heard BMW is just known for expensive maintenancein general. PS loveeeee the frequent vlogs!!!
Got rid of my 2016 Chevy Malibu with around 140k miles. Worst car to buy, American made cars are trash. I turned it in due to sooooo many issues. Got a 2021 Mazda 3 hatchback, Japanese cars are immaculate
girl my car was a 2001 audi and i drove it until it was like 350 kilometres which is about 215 miles... i loved it but eventually had to say goodbye, but i deff took good care of it and had things repaired here and there.

I got a new car two christmases ago, simply because I was travel nursing and had the money to spend on it. I traded in a used Mazda CX-5 that I had had since high school for a brand new Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Limited. I am obsessed with my new car and get super protective over it
I absolutely love those Starbucks Egg Bites, the Bacon & Gruyère are my favorite! But unfortunately, they only fill me up for 5 minutes, so I also get an Everything Bagel with Avocado Spread, and a Vanilla Iced Coffee 😋 The perfect breakfast once a week 👍
Get a Toyota rav4, I used to have a bmw x5 and the make of these two cars are very similar they even look the same from the outside. I would check it out because it’s a very reliable car and not wayyy expensive like a bmw plus the repairs are cheaper too

My car just hit 275,000 miles and it’s 12 years old! This is the first year it’s started to have a lot of little easy fix problems, but she’s still runnin!
When it comes to getting a new car a lot of people wait because you usually can pay it off and have no payment before the value of the car is less then whatever your trying to fix on the car. You can always look up the value of your car and compare to the work you need. When it comes to getting your car fixed they are sales men you don’t always need everything they say you “need”.

But also the amount of work that BMW’s require and the weird things that happen to them, I had multiple ignition coils replaced I had a coolant leak fixed etc etc they are COSTLY to maintain. I would have mini meltdowns at times because I am like why are all these weird maintenance things only happening to me and they’re SO expensive to fix

my last car had over 200k but it was a toyota and those last forever.

My 2008 bmw 535xi is at 300,000 it will last awhile! I just do regular maintenance. I will eventually upgrade but I love not having a car payment
In saying this I do not get it serviced at bmw I go to a euro mechanic who specializes in German cars it is much cheaper
