Am I the only one who thought that the whipped up recipe was really something edible?! Lol... It looked so delicious but yes, I can see how this would be very effective for locking in moisture. I use each of the products mentioned but never thought about adding to my conditioner. I will surely try this. Thanks so much for sharing this :)
OMG!!! I used this conditioning recipe in my natural 4c hair, it is absolutely worked wonders. I will definitely be using this deep conditioner on my hair weekly. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I've been using this for about a month and a half and my hair has been soft from doing it!!!! I reused my old conditioner bottle to fill it with this deep conditioner recipe and two smaller bottles. This really works !!! I usually let it sit in my hair for an hour or longer
I make a very similar deep conditioner, but I add Vitamin E and avocado oils to my mix, and occasionally peppermint essential oil; when doing a protein deep conditioner, I add hydrolyzed wheat protein. LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing.
My ratings of this recipe= 10 out of 10! 👌 I have 4c hair and recently neglected my hair (laziness), in the sense that I haven't washed it in a month 😬😅 (it became a super dry, knotted, afro and...yeah....lol....I predicted hard times ahead). I knew resurrecting my hair using the same prep/wash routine wouldn't be enough...so this video came into my recommendations at the perfect time! Let me tell y'all....this recipe was...*chef's kiss*...very...and I mean VERY helpful. After I came out the shower having just rinsed it out, I felt a sense of lusciousness in my strands I haven't felt...ever. Also today marked 5 days since I did my twist-out and had it wrapped in a headscarf ( took out my twists a couple of hours ago and was given fluffy/hydrated hair 😭 ). Nonetheless, I just wanted to say thank you for this recipe! *Note: I needed to leave the oil and conditioner to cool in the fridge before whipping it back into a usable conditioner-like texture (the heated oil seemed to make it difficult to whip with the conditioner...it was kind of separating).
OMG! I made this and my world changed forever. My only question is how long does this mixture last? When I made mines I had quite a bit left over which made me very happy. Just don't know if anything will go bad bcse of the honey? Other than that my Deep conditioning will never be the same. It usally takes me so long to detangle with the store bought crap even when I would add olive oil to them . I have the 4c hair to the 100th power and it was always such a daunting to task and I really didn't see any real results from it, But Lord have Mercy! The first time I used made and used yours, I was sooooo dumb founded as to how easy and quick I had just detangled and finished my whole head. WOW! (FYI) I will pray to never have to return to the old ways of doing this. I can even do it more often if I feel my hair needs it. I would never even considered that before. Thank you soooooooooooo much for sharing that. Just Please let me know if I should remix my solution or throw it away and make fresh everytime. Smooches Swtsade.
Juicy is absolutely correct India! Your hair went from winter beaten to spring ready! I love Tresemme for its slip but I'm certainly going to add those other ingredients that are sitting in my cabinet right now!!! Great tips always India!!
I always love your style and your tips. But I'm all about cash and carry. Shea Moisture did that for me. I deep conditioned with the Shea Moisture manuka honey and mufura oil hair masque. It feels like icing, and smells so good. Covered my hair with a cap for 30 minutes, and that's all it took. The moisture in my hair is amazing. This conditioner is everything. My curls were poping straight out of the shower. After trying this DIY if you haven't tried this Shea Moisture masque I recommend everyone try this one.
GUYS !!!! Try adding 1-2 bananas to this mixture It makes it sooooo much better ( but this recipe is very good as well ) But the more moisture the better 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Girl honey thank you for doing this video! I just made this and the results are gorgeous! My hair feels like butter, soft as cotton...I've never had results like that. I pre pooed with ACV which aided in detangling and Lord this will forever be a staple. No need to use a comb for detangling.....THANK YOU ;-)
I tried this hair recipe for the very first time and omg.. I never thought I,d be one of them ppl who would say that this or that works but wow.. just amazed at how well this hair mask softened my hair, I just had to come back and comment big thnx to you 🙏😌
This conditioner is everything, I tried it today and my hair is in a place I never knew it could be. Thank you so much for sharing, I will never go back to just over the counter products again.
Thanks for sharing India. I have the same base when i did my conditioner based deep conditioner : conditioner + oils + honey. and sometimes i add ingredients such as inulin, panthenol, rice protein, silk amino acid, depending on my hair specific needs. Shea butter is great to incorporate too espacially in the cold months
This deep conditioner is ev-er-y-thiiiiing! I did this and left it on for about an hour or more and my hair is still soft, moisturized, suuper easy to detangle and it’s been a couple weeks. This the one.
I've been doing this for a while now using Vitale Olive Oil Hair Mayonnaise as a base. I know it really works already, but I just love watching your videos.
I made this and didnt you it all Since there isnt eggs bananas milk and this things that go bad fast you can keep it in an airtight container ( not in the refrigerator ) Its still has the same affect
I wanted to deep condition my hair, but with the snowy weather I was not about to go outside. This was a perfect solution! It is simple and I had the products at home. Thank you!
Not a hair related question can you do a tutorial about your nail care? I was watching this video but I couldn't help but to notice that your nails where so pretty.
Instead of honey (I'm vegan) I used alma powder for its hair conditioning & strengthening properties and omg my hair was loving it 😍 felt so soft and was defined
Hey My Natural Sistas. Your hair looks so beautiful!! I truly believe that the deep conditioner you made had your hair to be beautifully soft. Your hair looked so soft and rich. I'll definitely try this method.😄😊
Thank you so much for this !!! I have really dry hair and it seemed like there wasnt anything that would make my hair feel 100% moisturized and this recipe worked !! I just substituted the EVOO for JBCO ! Thanks again❤️
This video is a God send because I can't order my products where I live due to the Coronavirus and I certainly can't find the products that I need in my local stores.
Duuuuuddeee this conditioner made my hair into eVVerrythingGG. My hair has been through 4 bleach sessions back to back, and this definitely helped the damage. Thank youuu
Was scrambling to find out how to prepare 4C hair before protective styling and ...I found this video!!! Thank you gurl..the recipe "Is On POINT!! It Hit The SPOT...oh yes! Thanks for Sharing, this was very helpful. Leaving my hair super soft & manageable...a miracle!🤣 Lol👌🏾👍🏽👏🏾
I owe my 3b curls to you my heart is always heat damage at the top layer of my hair even after I wash my hair now it curls after 1 wash with a cheap 8 dollar conditioner that’s really common it has no slip but when I put the ingredients in it was so good the conitoner was soft and sassy kids from aunt Jackie this looked like never before thank you love y’all need to try this
So badly wanted this to work but it separated on me:( what did I do wrong? Any advise please ? Update. So I thought I could turn this around by putting in freezer for 20 mins or so to ‘set’ partially if you like. Took it out whisked with a spatula and it has turned out beautifully. I'm doing this right now with my Shea Moisture RSB Deep Treatment Masque. Love it!! Your hair looked amazing!!!! I'm starting my wash day tonight by dc, prolly overnight or for just an hour or 2, who knows. Lol
I made this as soon as I saw it cuz I was getting ready to wash my hair. So I put olive oil and honey in a bowl and mixed it and it was really lumpy so I put in my conditioner and mixed it really good it came out like pudding and u don't even have to warm up the products I did not use coconut oil cuz my conditioner had it already and I don't have any.

I came across the comment section to see wether it's just me or not lol, it looks incredibly delicious😂😂

Yours is similar to mine! 😃 I also add tea tree oil, lemon oil, and eucalyptus oil!
That is a great idea...how much vitamin e did u put in it
Lisa Vargas I usually add 1-2 tsps. of Vitamin E to cup of conditioner. I hope you try it.
Alisha Simms I made it, it smells so good. Can't wait to try it. Thanks
She did not make a conditioner. She added ingredients to a conditioner that she already had.
I mixed the raw honey, evoo, and coconut oil, with tgin's repair mask and had phenomenal results on my super dry hair. Thanks for the video.

Can u use this as a leave in?!!!
OMG! My hair has NEVER BEEN SO SOFT! Thank you soooooo much for sharing your secret. God bless you and your family.
The fact that I JUST did this to my hair, same ingredients and conditioner. I'm adding honey next time, thanks for the tip!

I would think since nothing added contains water that it's okay for a while. Maybe leave it in the fridge until next use to be on the safe side?

So happy that I have all of these ingredients. I am making this the next time I wash my hair :)
If you dont use it all would you need to keep in the refrigerator or just store it in a airtight jar under the cabinet?
I made this and didnt you it all
Since there isnt eggs bananas milk and this things that go bad fast you can keep it in an airtight container ( not in the refrigerator )
