    Hi Yaya, thanks for this recipe. I was wondering if I can use Aloe Vera Juice instead of water. I've used a few of these ingredients in a similar recipe before but this one seems simpler. Continue being awesome.

    • @YayaDIYCreations
      @YayaDIYCreations  Год назад +4

      Hi! I am glad you think so, because I simplified it from the original formula 😅. I was trying to make it easier. Aloe Vera Juice can sometimes destabilize your product depending on its interaction with other ingredients. Mainly the emulsifier. Some opt to use Aloe Vera concentrate or powder instead. You can definitely test it out to see how it will respond in the formula. 😊💜

    Panthenol is a cool down ingredient. It is not heat stable over 70⁰ C or 158⁰ F. It is inadvisable to heat it past 40⁰ C (104⁰ F). You can reserve some water (1:1 ratio panthenol to distilled water) to pre-disolve it before adding at cool down.

    • @YayaDIYCreations
      @YayaDIYCreations  Год назад +42

      Hi! You may be referring to the liquid version, d-panthenol. I am using dl-panthenol which is the powder version. According to the manufacturer, they both can be used in cool or heated phases/formulations. However, I have heard that the liquid version can be sensitive to heat because it is less potent. However, I am always happy and willing to learn new things. I would be happy to read up on documents about this further. If you have anything you would like to share, don’t hesitate. Thanks again for sharing! 😊💜

      @@YayaDIYCreations DL Panthenol is a mixture of D panthenol and L Panthenol. It contains D Panthenol.

    • @YayaDIYCreations
      @YayaDIYCreations  Год назад +39

      @@HelloWakeUp9 Yes, I know that. It is in the name and clearly stated by the manufacturer before purchase. 😅You can choose between the liquid (D-panthenol) or powdered versions (Dl-panthenol), but they are not processed the same way. I prefer the powdered version.
      This is directly from the manufacturer, not my words: "D,L-Panthenol, aka Pro-Vitamin B5, is a stable racemic mixture of D-Panthenol and L-Panthenol. The human body readily absorbs DL-Panthenol through the skin and it rapidly converts D-Panthenol to Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5), a natural constituent of healthy hair and a substance present in all living cells. When it comes to moisturization properties- improved hydration, reducing water loss and maintaining skin elasticity and softness- this racemic mixture is 100% active. When applied for skin epithelization (wound healing), only D-Panthenol is converted to Vitamin B5 and not the L-Panthenol, so D,L-Panthenol has only half of the physiological activity of D-Panthenol." -LotionCrafter
      As stated before, if there is any material you would like to share for me to read about the powdered form being heat sensitive, please feel free to share. I would be happy to review it. However, I have been using panthenol in the heated phase for years, it has not failed me yet. 💜

      Hi Egwu! I cannot give legal advice about business practices. I share my hobby for personal and entertaining purposes only. If you use these recipes, you do so at your own risk. I encourage you to test them yourself for stability and make a decision. I hold no responsibility for information used in any manner on this channel. Okay now that the legal stuff is out of the way. 😅
      All of my formulas are free. However, most are in the testing stage and would need a professional lab to do a stability test. As long as you are not using my brand or name, it is free. I hope this helps. 😊💜

      😂😂😂
      Thank you so much yaya, sure I can’t use your name neither your brand,
      It’s because I really have passions for hair growth treatments and I’ve been following your page lately that was why I was hoping on starting my own DIY and sell for my customers.
      At least preservatives are not supposed to make it spoil right?
