San Sebastián Del Oeste | FUN day trip from Puerto Vallarta

Join us as we wake up early in Puerto Vallarta, MX and head to the marina to begin our tour with Vallarta Adventures to San Sebastián Del Oeste, one of the Pueblos Magicos and an historical silver mining town.
Our first stop along the way is at Panaderia Carmen's Bakery, where we enjoy a delicious, freshly-baked empanada and some hot coffee. After that we stop at an agave field and learn about how green and blue agave plants are harvested to make tequila and raicilla. Next, we journey to Café de Altura La Quinta Mary to sample more delicious coffee before finally making our way to San Sebastián.
Once there we explore the local church and museum, before we walk around the town and see what else is interesting. Finally, we end our tour at Hacienda Don Lalin, where we learn about the distillery process involved with making tequila and raicilla before getting a sampler flight to enjoy.

We thought so too! Unfortunately, our tour only gave us a little over half an hour to explore the town for lunch. Lol. We would have loved to see a little bit more of the community and even explore the abandoned mines.
