Hi . I've been coming to Los Ayala for years and there were very few policemen. There has been a new law and the police cars are everywhere. Great video. Isn't Los Ayala amazing and the small beach and the glory of toro. Many blessings.
We appreciate everything that the community has to offer, and we're looking forward to returning to Los Ayala. If we head to the Toro, we'll definitely be taking a boat this time, LOL Thanks for watching!
This is a great video with great info for first timers. I'm planning my first trip there, and this was helpful. Thank you!
Thanks so much! We're so glad you found it to be helpful, we love hearing that our videos are useful to other travelers❤ You're going to love Puerto Vallarta! It's a wonderful city that has a way of capturing the hearts of those who visit. Have a great trip!
@aviandv we were just saying the other day we are overdue to go back to the East Coast!
The water there is gorgeous
@@aviandv if it just had the sunset of PV it would be perfect
Just off the Malecon is a fairly cheap restaurant that has indoor seating but also beach tables under umbrellas that are literally just feet from the shore. It's called the Sea Monkey. It was me and my partners favorite place to hang out while in PV! Here is the Google maps. maps.app.goo.gl/UkVgmyu2TD7HMgBd9
We've had drinks there, once or twice. Great location!
Hahaha. Jethro Tull 😂
..might want to bring some pesos from home or pay the premium to convert a few $ at the departure or arrival cash exchange booths. When the cash machines go down in the airport, it’s a sight to behold as people panic.
Lol We bet!
Saw a sea turtle laying eggs there last may.
Wow, that's amazing! Must have been a really cool experience
CRV drivers. SMH. LOL!! Appreciate the vid!
Lol! So glad you enjoyed it!
What’s that last place you recommended? I would love to visit there..
Rincon de Guayabitos is a wonderful little beach town about 1.5 hours north of Puerto Vallarta by car. It's in the state of Nayarit. We love this little town and highly recommend you check it out. Here's a full length video on the area if you want more information. Thanks for watching and we hope you get a chance to make it there! ruclips.net/video/aRFTiYZXFGg/видео.html
The “schlep” is definitely worth it. Take the walk across the pedestrian bridge b/c it’s about double the cost taking the white cabs from or to the airport
It is worth totally it to many people, for sure. We just prefer to pay the extra money for the ease of it all, personally. $10-15 isn't enough of a saving for us to bother dragging our bags up the stairs and across the bridge. Despite what it may look like here, we only travel a few times a year. For us, it's worth some cash to save time and energy when on vacation. Especially when we're tired from flying and just want to be taken to our hotel.
What's with the video clips of Mexico City??
Nice catch. We also added in Puerto Escondido shots, too. It was our subtle way of demonstrating that we've taken taxis in many parts of the beautiful country of Mexico.
Is it called Zenith Downtown?
No, it's just called Zenith Condominiums.
Looking forward to your next video. Thank you.
Thanks! We're working on it!
This place is magnificent! Watching this just makes me feel inspired guys! Outstanding work 👏👏
Thanks so much! We really appreciate hearing that, especially from someone who makes beautiful, inspiring videos, themselves. We subscribed!
This airport sucks.
Yeah, it's been really crowded, especially at departures, this last week. Hopefully, when the new terminal is operational, it'll get better.
Awesome adventures...thanks and Happy New Year
Happy New Year to you too! We're glad you enjoyed the video!
@aviandv loved the intro! @10:00 is that the bridge or the margaritas? 😂 this is totally giving us Yelapa vibes. It's on our list now. Thanks so much for sharing guys! Looking forward to the next one. Cheers
Lol... maybe a little of both! We loved Yelapa, but both of us liked Quimixto a little bit more. It's a really cool little town, you'd love it!
@aviandv looking forward to seeing it with our own eyes some day.
Love your cute guide for the first part❣️😍 looks like a great place & reminded me of Yelapa too - which we loved! ✔️🙂
Yelapa is great but Quimixto was a little cooler, to us. It feels a little less touristy, a little more authentic and we liked the waterfall and river a lot better.
Yall are so nice to share your experiences in Mexico with us. Quimixto looks so relaxing and beautiful with all the plush foliage.
We're so glad you enjoy them! Quimixto it's a great little town. One advantage of going during the rainy season is that everything is so green that time of year!
Try the amateur day on Saturday this year. More booths to choose from on Saturday,
Sounds good! Thanks for the suggestion.
Wow, great informative video. We have booked a beach hut in April and were wondering how to get there from Boca. Thank You!
Thanks so much. We bet you're going to enjoy being back in Vallarta!
@@aviandvyes, it’s been a long time.
You were not in a shopping center when that happened though, and it is your kuleana to be aware. Not the best way to go about it, maybe, but it raised awareness for others about being considerate about what happened here and how there are political activists working to protect areas of cultural and religious significance, but it takes visitors being aware that they are visiting a place with a lot of history. You could have looked up the significance of the area you visited, as easily as you could have googled how to get there.
Thanks 4 commenting, but you missed the entire point of the video. Our modest goal is to educate others and not exculpate ourselves. If you watched the video then you would have seen us take responsibility for our slight ignorance and that we hoped others would NOT make the same mistake we made (which is the reason why we chose to make the video), thereby helping to conserve the specialness of the location where this happened. Focusing on our accidental mistake while also saying that the "gentleman's" threats of violence and intimidation tactics were "maybe not the best way to go about it," Is kind of a backwards way of looking at things, no? My wife and I are worth at least as much respect as a wall, and this violent and possibly drug fueled individual didn't seem to understand that basic social equation. Hawaii itself could, and maybe it already has since we were there, do just a little work by placing signs near sites that deserve respect. They are ultimately responsible for the maintenance of their own cultural heritage and the education of future tourists, far more than any single tourist should be. This is something that cultures around the world already do, and Hawaii should join the 21st century in that regard. We always try to do as much research as we can and be as respectful of any place we go to where we travel in the world and will continue to do so in the future.
Hey I’m going to most likely be going there for two days out of a week in Mexico soon. And I am wondering where I can get lots of safe good water to drink. I like to stay very hydrated and Iv heard stories of bad ice and stuff
Honestly, it's not something you really have to worry about in Puerto Vallarta. There are plenty of corner stores, convenience stores and liquor stores that will have plenty of clean water for sale. You can also find it at every grocery store and restaurant throughout the entire city; just ask the server for a bottle of water or botela de agua. If you stay at a hotel or resort, they will likely provide you a few bottles in your room everyday with daily house keeping, or you can always ask at the front desk. If you rent an apartment or a condo, ask the host if tthe water in the building is safe to drink or not. Many new builds have filtration systems installed. Restaurants and bars around the city do not make their own ice with water from the city sources. Most of them have it delivered on a daily basis, or if they do make their own, it's because they have a filtration system in house, so it's perfectly safe to enjoy those delicious margaritas on the beach!
Oh no. That's horrible! Hope your community is able to bounce back from this. From your other videos of Santa Cruz it looks like a charming place.
@@beachbumbling yes, it's a big blow. Our wharf is over 100 years old and houses many multi generational family businesses. The area lion viewing station was a local icon and will sorely missed. We'll clean up most of the mess before the springtime...But the wharf may never be the same, unfortunately.
@aviandv that's very unfortunate.
Hey so sorry this happened to you, it's unfortunately a big problem on the islands. Thank you for sharing and educating!
We really appreciate hearing that. Thanks for watching.:)
We know ya love Puerto Vallarta...and I could see why...lovely...lady time I was there was 1986
Time to visit again! A lot has changed, and it's still a gorgeous and warm place.
They'r e not done by the govenment
Some wall structures are created by the municipal and state government, as well as private entities, but this one certainly wasn't.
Mind blowing, isn't it? I walked that wharf since I was a child in the late 1960s. I almost headed over there today myself (the day after) from Capitola to see if they were trying to remove the traveling bathroom yet but got side-tracked. If only they could save it, move it somewhere for display and make it a landmark. This is history being made. Cool video. Looks like it won't be in one piece for long. If the waves don't crush it then the logs will.
Mind blowing indeed! Many people have a shared history of memories made, and those are now floating around in the ocean. Maybe some thing can yet be salvaged. Thanks for watching and stay safe out there!
Sad sad very sad😢
Yeah I heard I haven't looked at the video yet just responding right off the bat but earthquakes around there lately I'm going to watch the video I figured I'd just say hello it's John Miller living in Belize now You know I have been for a while just checking in with the hometown bro I miss Santa Cruz I just can't be there it's too much expense I love you guys❤❤❤❤😂😂🎉🎉🎉
Stay tuned, we'll be releasing a longer video of the event as it unfolded by tomorrow. It's sad, indeed, but at least everyone was ok and it will be rebuilt! Sending good vibes from Santa Cruz!
the pooper going up the river...
Crazy!!!
Any sense in getting USD converted at my bank in the US before I go?
In our experience, not really, especially if your bank doesn't charge foreign transaction fees. We don't like to travel with that much cash, the exchange rate is pretty much the same, and you have to go to your bank to pick up the pesos, so we just find the atms to be with the small price of the transaction fee for the ease and convienence. Just use one owned by a major bank, not a free standing, independent atm company. Those ones often charge fees that are way too expensive.
@aviandv thanks. Appreciate the info
does not interest me because looks like a tourist trap
That's too bad. You're missing out on an awesome city, but we won't try to change your mind.
@aviandv we never made it to that town. We stopped at Yelapa. Thanks for sharing this. We may need to go back lol.
This town felt a lot like Yelapa, but less busy and not so packed with tourists. It has a better beach area, too. We really liked it and would be down to spend a few days there, sometime.
It's not a good time to go to Mexico and the new government is very scary now be careful things are changing in Mexico now. And it's gotten very expensive now. Better not to go be safe.
Rex you don’t know what you’re talking about
Whoa #862 here in da house ! You have almost doubled your subscribers awesome! Went to Puerto Vallarta in November was so balmy hot ! When is the cooler time of year to visit ?? Mucho gracias
Thanks Anthony! We were there in September and same for us. It was so sweaty! December through April is when the weather is the most pleasant, there. We absolutely love that city around Christmas and New Years.
Hee! Hee! You guys are too young to go to bed at 10:30 on vacation! I'm 61 and I may have been a wedding crasher if I was there! LOL. BTW, love your videos! I am going to this resort in March - for the first time - can't wait!
Thanks for watching! We actually had been traveling since 3am that day, but we do go to bed earlier than some. Lol Have fun on your trip🍹🥳
Toda Rabah! 💙
אתה מוזמן! תודה שצפיתם.
thx a lot for the airport tips we are a bit nervous about that lol
@inandoutnature5127 You should be fine if you just walk by the people in the "shark tank." Otherwise, it's just like most other airports. Have fun and feel free to ask us any other questions you think we could answer :)
@@aviandv great thx a lot will u recommend a tour guide u use?
That was great! Thank you so much for showing us this resort. My husband and I are scheduled to arrive on December 19th and are very excited to stay here especially after watching your video.
@@pattiscarborough6275 thank you so much and we hope you have so much fun! It's a great resort at a good value.
Great video. I've subscribed.
Thank you!
Such a great video! Very helpful. I’m going with my teenager in late fall 2025 it’s our first time in Mexico. Downtown PV seems pretty safe during the day. Can you recommend a good all inclusive with a beach and activities for adults/teens. We will do the activities together so doesn’t have to be just for teens.
Thank you so much! We love hearing that our videos help people. Puerto Vallarta is a very safe city, especially if you stick to the Centro and Zona Romantica areas, though we've explored well beyond those and have never felt unsafe. We know you'll have so much fun! Our favorite AI is an adults only. We've stayed at Plaza Pelicanos and enjoyed it, but there wasn't much in the way of activities. We recently stayed at the Riu in Nuevo Vallarta (review video coming soon!) and while we found the food and pool to be so so, we really enjoyed the beautiful beach area and there was LOTS of activities for all ages! It's a little out of the way, but easy enough to catch an Uber or a Taxi from if you want to get off the resort and explore the city. We've never stayed there, but we've heard great things about the Hyatt Ziva to the south of the city and the Hilton by the marina. Also never stayed there but if you want to be right in town, check out the Buenaventura. Beach there is a little rocky but the location can't be beat. We hope you have a great trip and that you grow to love Vallarta as much as we do!
Maaf di hp. ini tidak ada lonceng nya 🙏

It's an easy place to love. Have fun next week!
I've lived here on the big island going on 20 years. I'm very sorry you ran across one of the far and few between World-Class A$$hole /Jerks that do reside here on the Big Island. You guys understandably did not know, you guys were apologetic and clearly we're sincere about it. AND you guys really did NOTHING wrong. Please don't let that JERK dissuade you from coming back to the Big Island. The only thing I wish was you were 6'5" and 250 pounds and you clocked the guy. Seriously, you guys did the right thing and the mature thing by just walking away. Paul McCartney sang people are the same wherever you go. There are good and bad. And Jimmy Buffett wrote a song about that bad guy that you unfortunately encountered: ruclips.net/video/sybrZXnWx60/видео.html
Most of the places at or near the boardwalk that I use to frequent are long gone. First times I went there was in the 1960s. At the beginning of this video when you walk in and suggest the Giant Dipper, that whole area is new and is where the shooting gallery use to be. There was also an arcade where I saw my very first video game (Computer Space). Directly across from Neptune's Kingdom there was an Italian restaurant. Now just parking spaces.
Wow, it must have been really cool to live in Santa Cruz in the 60s. It sure has changed around here!
Looks like a great place - I'd stay there! Great video guys!! 🙂👍
Thanks Karen!
