2 PAF C-130 planes ready to fly again after maintenance, upgrade

- Two Lockheed C-130T cargo aircraft of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) are once more operational after undergoing maintenance check-up and capability upgrades.
The PAF’s C-130T aircraft with tail numbers 5011 and 5040 were inspected by Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Commander-in-Chief and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at the Haribon Hangar in Clark Air Base, Pampanga on Friday, March 31.

I hope ph will buy C-390 from brazil. We already bought tucanos from them the C-390 may not be bigger than the C-130 and it is jet powered than a propeller. But it is useful for smaller runway where the C-130s can't or barely lands at. Like sulu but the C-130 hercules can land however it depends on the pilot skills i hope an incident like that never happens again. But a small airport like sulu we should just consider using the C-130T because it is the only aircraft that is used to land in a smaller runway like that plus the PH should consider buying other lift helicopters beside the Mi-17 out of all aircrafts we needed we need those heavy transport helicopters out of all aircrafts that are needed by our airforce!
C130 is better equip with weather in the PH and also short landing strips than jet powered cargo planes tulad ng sinasabi mo C390

4 propellers are powerful and better equipp at any weather condition

They need to arm them with 105 mm, 40 mm on the side, like the AC130, or the gunship...
A lot easier said than done. They’d need the electronic suite that is needed to make a C-130 to a AC-130.

Convert ninyo na yang mga C130 into a gunship..lagyan ng cannon at gattling gun...yan ang super fortress ng Philippines.
Parang mas malala pa yan sa second hand na gamit. Magandang pakinggan lang kasi naupgrade at sumailalim sa matinding overhauling at maintenance but still luma parin yan. Ang main engine nyan hindi naman napalitan ng bago at mga electronic parts nya 👎👎👎

Pinipilit pa n paliparin. Yung kasabayan niyan ilang sundalo na nagbuwis ng buhay. Dapat niretiro na lang yan.
Refurbished nanaman yan gaya noon binili yan. Pagkabili noon ilang buwan lang bumagsak na kumitil pa ng buhay ng mga sundalo.
