This is The MC 130 ,which stands for Multi-mission Combat Transport.
They gave it a serious upgrade, transforming it into the AC130 J Ghostrider! Yes, you heard me right, they turned a cargo plane into a beast of the skies!
While the AC 130 J is an upgraded version of the famous Spooky Gunship.
The A C 130 Spooky packs mainly three primary armaments.
First up, we've got the 25mm Gatling Gun, capable of delivering some serious firepower.
Then, there's the 40mm Bofors Gun, which can lay down a barrage of explosive rounds. And last but not least, the mighty 105 Howitzer, is a true game-changer.
While the latest version the ghost Rider is armed with only 2 Armaments.
A 25 mm, Bush Master cannon, and the same 105-mm Howitzer.
But there’s a lot more like the Addition of Hellfire missiles, and a Small Diameter Bombs attached to both its wings, added due to the changing battle scenarios.
Also note, they literally took this 105 mm Howitzer used by the Army, removed it’s wheels, Shield, and legs, and re-engineered it to fit inside this AC One 30 turning it into a gunship.
They also removed most of the parts from this Naval gun and Bradley Fighting Vehicle 30 mm Bushmaster to fit inside this plane.
This beast of the skies has an overall length of 29.3 meters, towering to a height of 11.9 meters, and has a massive wingspan of 39.7 meters.
This monster can handle a payload of up to 42,000 pounds! To help you understand it’s size let’s compare this to an average Human, As you can see it’s almost 2 storeys tall.
Even better let’s compare this to an average S U V.
Looks like it can stack 5 of these in the cargo bay.
Moving forward, we have the iconic Tupolev TU - 95 bomber.
Next in line, we've got the American Boeing B-52 Stratofortress strategic bomber.
And finally, the famous Antonov cargo plane which is a true giant of the skies.

Great stuff. Only thing to critique is maybe going a bit to much into the basics of aviation on this one (ailerons etc). The Herc is a beast with enough unique features on its own. Interesting projects could be the Israeli Iron Dome, P8 Poseidon or the Embraer EMB314 Super Tucano. Just my ideas. Keep up the great work.

The mispronunciation of a dozens or more words is another critique and so triggering to hear. Maybe get an editor to QA the video instead of just reading off the Chat-GPT script without knowing how to pronounce the words and publishing it.

@@Aitelly Do you play Star Craft? What we do when we see enemy Science Vessel/Overlord/Arbiter? We shot them down because these flying control centers can messed us up, they become primary target to be destroyed. They need a lot of protections to function. What we feel when our hard earn minerals to build them just wasted when our similar units destroyed by the enemy?😆
@@MizanQistinaUS is the only country that can completely control any air space so they can definitely operate AC-130. It won’t be used until usaf essentially destroys all of the opponent’s air defenses so it’ll be safe.

@@Aitelly Not that I know of, but I like to think they would. Take the 30mm GAU-8 off the A-10 they are going to retire (still pissed about that); add (1) Bofors L/70 57mm cannon, and (1) XM360 (soon to be M360) cannon.
Such plane is good only against insurgents in desert who don't have AA. Any nation with even ancient AA will shoot down this bird in an instant.

It's not the same 25mm bushmaster cannon, it's a 30mm mk44 bushmaster cannon, better range, accuracy, but lower rate of fire than the 25mm gatling one

It's a good thing when you're fighting against guys in flip-flops with Kalashnikovs. If the enemy has air defense, the AC 130 will rest at the airfield.
and an abrams would suck in navy combat. AC is meant for VEO not near peer competition

Not me, I was a crew member on the ac-130u spooky. Flying then long before modern warfare came out. By the way you have some details wrong regarding the AC-J. It does not have a 25mm bushmaster, it is a 30mm.

tell me if I miss something... but can the gun be aligned to the target through downward/upward (or left-right) movement, or is it stuck in place thus need pilot to actually stay in target? because if it's the latter, there's too many job for the pilot, and too little job for the 2 gun officer.
and how about weight distributions? as I could see, both the guns and computer systems is all on the left side of the plane. since those 2 things is awfully heavy, won't that cause baance issue? or is that a positive instead since you want the left side to be tilted to the ground anyways? and how this affect the actual flying of the plane?

But When you are aming from 11 miles or kms a slight turn is a lot of change and when computers are involded in aliging the gun it makes a huge difference.
The Pilot will only align the plane to stabilise it using the HUD Heads up display

I think the weakest point of the plane is its back, so even a grenade coming from above can cause serious damage.
