- Are you ready for the most iconic Halloween themed cake? Probably only if you love Over The Garden Wall as much as I do. In this episode, I make a nostalgic Halloween cake inspired the Cartoon Network show created by Patrick McHale. Watch me struggle to create the perfect buttercream consistency, make a stencil of Greg and Wirt, and end with a fun little pumpkin surprise! This whimsical culinary homage might just be my favorite cake I've ever created.

Lovely process video, thank you for sharing! I have the maroon Lambeth book pictured in your video, and trying some techniques out on a cake is on my decorating "things to try" list. I've tried some of the Lambeth techniques on cookies and they take time and patience for sure. I think you did an amazing job, your cake looks beautiful! I love decorating 🎂 cakes! I add jellies in the middle of my layers for extra flavor 😋 & my southern grandma taught me how to add Mayo to the cake batter for an extra moist cake.

Just a quick tip,dip your offset spatula into warm if not hot glass of water,then spread your icing,much easier and smoother,love your channel 💐🪺

I have the new book in my wishlist and hope to be able to explore it! I have never made a layer cake or a typical cake ever, so I learned so much from this video. I'm not a fan of coffee at all. Would it still be good without it?

Small suggestion freeze your cake. Next time it’ll be easier to frost.
Yeah, I was going to say I refrigerate my cakes and cupcakes after they've cooled completely before icing them. That makes so much difference.
