I knew someone who was treated like a “Golden Child”, poor guy after finally leaving high school faced a bitter cold reality that his gift was nothing but a mere illusion created by his parents and the school. I heard from my friend he fell into a bad depression, alcohol and drug abuse then disappeared from everyone’s lives, stopped contacting his friends and never heard from him again. He was really talented but was overly praised, put on a pedestal every day of his life, feel bad since he watched his other two friends succeed only for him to fall behind
I knew a girl like that, but she got confronted to the cold reality much earlier, she still got depressed but at least she got a good friend group, she got lucky
As a Gifted Kid who’s suffered with Gifted Kid Burnout, this is incredibly relatable to me. It all starts staying up late, then having trouble paying attention because you’re tired, then seeing a bad test result and that taking a big hit on your self esteem, so you try to push harder but you keep on failing. I remember struggling to keep myself awake in class because I was so tired. I’m happy you made this amazing animation and I can connect to it a lot.
That’s horrible...I’m so sorry you had to go through that. Here. You deserve a hug.🤗 This video is a perfect representation of not pushing expectations on others to much... wow ! There are many parents who put pressure on their children just for the sake of studying and winning a passport just for the sake of fame or reputation Also, an intelligent child who suffers from resentment towards his parents may fall ill due to fatigue or become psychologically ill due to the pressure and threats he receives from his parents. Also, if this intelligent child loses his grade or fails, he will receive a lot of trouble from his parents For example, parents say things that hurt feelings, hit their child, or put pressure on a child more than before, and because of all of this, the child can become crazy and do abnormal things or fall into depression and commit suicide. There are also parents who prefer their intelligent child over their less intelligent child, and this makes the less intelligent child lose self-confidence and He feels that he is a stranger to people or that he has no benefit in this world, and sometimes parents are very cruel to a less intelligent child and harm him psychologically and physically A less intelligent child can be so sad that he falls into depression and commits suicide .I hope this misfortune ends and they leave their children comfortable and happy
@@scarletweb2106 Yes, this is something that is very common among Asians, especially China and Japan. In China or Japan, parents prefer smart children over less intelligent children They ignore the less intelligent child and focus only on the intelligent child. Sometimes the parents insult the less intelligent child and are worse. Not only parents who mistreat less intelligent children, even teachers and relatives, almost the entire society does not like the child Less intelligent, and this causes many psychological problems in a child, and this is the reason why China and Japan are more advanced than us because they throw out less intelligent people and leave more intelligent people. This is racism! A person being less intelligent does not mean he is a failure This less intelligent person could be good at something else. Study is just a weapon in order to develop a future. My unpopular opinion: You *are* accepted. In your own ways. Even you have your own unique persona, it’s you. It’s their loss if they can’t see you the way that you do see yourself. You don’t need to be perfect for the sake of others, as long as you know you are honest with yourself, then you *are* perfect.

This is so emotional 😭
Wow. True. I had cracks from the start and I’m almost breaking apart😢
Oh, so cuuuute! Amazing messege
The title made me think the film would be about drug addiction lol.
reminds me of that film of a cat family where the daughter's skin kept cracking and eventually passed.
Same
It’s good to achieve but when you try to be perfect you’re just gonna crash and burn.
Who actually is behind this? The credits only say whatever music library they used!
Animation students from BPSU
Kyle Matthew Collantes and Sophia Jane Talastas
Este video es el vivo ejemplo de que una buena historia bien contada, no necesita enormes propuestos, toma nota Hollywood 🙂
Is this made with flipaclip?
This is made using Clip Studio Paint and the backgrounds modeled in Blender.
Very well done how did you make this and do you take request because I had an idea for another you can make.?
Oh this is actually for our thesis requirement.
@@Cracked-AnimationFilm-ce4zv what do you mean?
This animation is a requirement for us to graduate.
Also, we created this using Clip Studio Paint.
@@Cracked-AnimationFilm-ce4zv well congratulations.
So your saying the animation was hard then it looks.?
Yea it took us half a year to create the whole film. (From planning, story writing, storyboard, animatic then the animation itself).
AWWW THIS IS SO CUTE 😭
Hey, very interesting short. I wanna say that your animation it's kinda good, I'm sure you will improve a lot in some time!

They always want you to be perfect, to succeed and surpass everyone... but little do they know that people can crack when under pressure
