Out of the factory the majority of these cells actually test over 330 ah capacity. If they are swollen and testing at spec 314 ah or less they are probably used cells.
Thank you for making this video and your honesty. But I' seriously suspicious of EVE on this. I suspect they are passing on failing cells as grade A. Their own datasheet reads the cell dimensions as delivered cannot exceed 71.7+-0.8mm under 300kg compression. Now you've only measured the edge. I bet the center is a further mm thicker. The real question is, will it compress to datasheet specs or not. If not the do not meet the quality standard. If it does compress it may meet the quality standard, but flat cells will have substantially longer longevity. One of main reasons of aging is graphite electrode swelling and delamination. If these start their life already swollen this is very bad news even if electrically they meet the requirements now. I'd not buy such cells. In fact I have my own order from EVE now I'm waiting for (arrival next week) if my cells are like this I'm returning it no matter what EVE says. If they don't accept it I'll do a charge back. It is clear something bad has happened in their factory. They messed up a batch of cells and they try to pass them on.
