WMATA Metrorail : Rosslyn Station [ Blue, Orange & Silver Lines ]

- This video is my last video from my trip to Washington D.C. Another trip will happen in the near future with more bus & train content.
This is Rosslyn Station in the Arlington section of Virginia. This station has a pretty unique layout as there's trains on two levels, instead of the island platforms that's normally seen in the Downtown area and other places outside of Downtown D.C.
I'm pretty sure there's more stations with this layout, but this is currently one of my favorite stations because of the layout.
What you'll see here are videos of Breda 2000s, 3000s, CAF 5000s, Alstom 6000s & Kawasaki 7000 Series cars operating on the Blue, Orange & Silver lines making their way through Rosslyn Station. This video also features some equipment moves, and a money train comprised of Rohr 1000/8000 series cars and Breda 3000 series cars.
I hope you guys enjoyed the video. Subscribe & stay tuned for more!!

2:50 LMAO 😂 You should never attempt to enter the train once the doors are closing. He’s lucky
I didn't know they were that strong xD
@@railfanben5935 Lol....i easily pushed those doors apart on many occasions haha.
he shouldn't been late getting to Metro prior to the door's closing on him and not opening back up when he tried to open them to get on
I've seen some people absolutely annihilate the doors so that their friend can get on.
Your intro is awesome. GLORIOUS at it again
Now just make a video about that monstrously long/tall escalator on the way out!
I heard that the station with the tallest escalator was Wheaton Station. If that's the case, when I check out that station later this year, I'm definitely going to put that in the station compilation video.
midnightgrowler I feel for you, I was scared of falling. There are other Metro stations with the long escalators. I visited the DC area very recently and thought that I was never going to make it to the top at the Wheaton station
Anybody peep the man trying get between the door 2:57 😂
Antonio Snow 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I luv hearing the door's opening and closing sound on the old Metro train's IK who does the voice of the opening and closing sound
That's Randi Miller for ya!
Nice to see a deadhead combined 3000- and 5000-series consist followed by an original 1000-series Rohr Money Train consist with cars 8003 and 8002, followed by 3114 and 3115 for some weird reason.
Nice u saw the money train I need to watch some more wmata filming lol😂
Nice video!!!
Just wait for the next train. It's not that hard. Anywho, great video!
what happened to the old Metro train that passed by everyone with the light's out on the train did anyone notice It I sure did
like metro
What is the 8000 series doing, its not even out yet LOL
It was interesting to see how the outbound Orange line train (Vienna/Fairfax-GMU) went toward the right upon entering the tunnel, while the outbound Blue line train (Franconia-Springfield) went toward the left.
That’s how the brown striped train 🚊 sounds
Jay Playz They’re part of the 5000 series. I go to these videos specifically for them. The sound of those trains is the sound of my childhood
What're your top 8 favorite Metro Stations? I live in South Carolina, but my top 8 favorite Metro Stations are Rockville, Glenmont, Foggy Bottom, GWU, Smithsonian, Metro Center, Gallery Place Chinatown, Union Station, and L'Enfant Plaza. What was your favorite MetroRail Car out of the Rohr 1000 series, Breda 2000 series, Breda 3000 series, Breda 4000 series, CAF 5000 series, Alstom 6000 series, and Kawasaki 7000 series? Mine was the Breda 4000 series even though Breda 4k cars and the Rohr 1k cars are retired. Are the CAF 5k cars retired yet?
I haven't been to all of the stations yet, but Rosslyn, Union Station, Metro Center, Anacostia, Mount Vernon Square, Fort Totten, Silver Spring, Braddock Road & Arlington Cemetery are some of my favorites so far.
As for favorite series cars, from most favorite to least favorite, 5000s, 3000s, 2000s, 7000s & 6000s.
Silver Spring
I Thought The Rohrs We're All Scrapped But Wow And it Even Has The Old RollSign From The 70s The Rohrs Are Still Alive? Wow
Some of the 1000s were renumbered to 8000s and used as cars for the Money Train.
@@lamborghinihexagons5502 There is no 8000 series!
@@autogolazzojr7950 there will be soon though lol replacing the 2000, 3000 and possibly the 6000 series.
I don't want the 6000 series to be replace, I love their sound.
Ok these things sound like a mixture of the Victoria Line trains and the Northern Line trains here in London
Bobby roode theme at the beginning
2:52 you can not go on the train
Eeeeeeeeeyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (powering up)eyaaaaaaaaa
He looks like Madlib @2:54
Gosh, I hate that station! It’s a long, long escalator ride to street level and was scared of falling! Best advice, keep looking at the steps until you’re at the top!
Elysia Duke well it’s deserted damn near now. Now try Wheaton station for long stairs.
How about actually getting on the train and giving us a sightseeing tour?? This is very boring.
Your very boring not this
@@ejdsndnj thank u very much tell her again
