WMATA Metrorail : A Ride On-Board The Kawasaki 7000 Series Train On The Silver Line

- During my trip last month, I finally got a chance to get some interior footage of these 7000-series cars. I was lucky enough to get this empty car, as there was another Silver Line train in front of this one.
What you'll see here are exterior and interior videos of the Kawasaki 7000-series train on the Silver Line. The exterior videos were taken at Court House & Greensboro Stations. The ride was recorded between Virginia Square & Spring Hill Stations. I would've recorded all the way to Wiehle-Reston East, but my hotel was at Spring Hill.
I hope you guys enjoyed the video. Subscribe & stay tuned for more!

The 7000 series sounds beautiful
I wish I could ride these bad boys. They look so clean
Trust me they are during the morning weekends or some holidays
They're very loud though. Plus, if you ever come to Washington DC then you'll for sure see one.
I ride the metro train 🚊 yesterday with my sisters
Very comfortable trains. Marked improvement over the older ones.
When I went up there in January I got lucky. They were literally everywhere and I saw more of these then the bredas. Wayyy more
Not exactly lucky in the way you think... you are lucky that you even saw a breda:/
Update: Metro's new 8000 series railcars will now be built by Hitachi Rail!!
Smart of the operator to hit the manual announcement button so it goes straight to the line information instead of saying all that useless doors opening nonsense.
I ride the 7000 series train with my dad he is stronger and buff and we ride it on Wednesday’s and the train be stomping really loud that’s why I love the train sounds
who hates the occasional creaking of the 7000 series lol
Why do the announcements have to tell the public what model number the train is??!
RedLight GreenArrow
They don’t do that anymore
This was due to the 7000 train initially being too dangerous for the blind because of the type of connectors.
Kawasaki don't even make cars.
Just train cars and motorcycles.
