That is actually amazing! And actually, you don't need the Windows 95 or 2000 cd rom to create a fat 16 partition, you just need hiren's boot cd pe. But amazing video!
This is likely due to the fact that Windows never shipped on anything lower. DOS 3.1 came 4 years earlier and already used it. From there on only FAT32 arrived (apart from the obviously different named and ultimate exFAT) which it was always called. Of course FAT12 can still be used to this day… because Microsoft.
This is INSANE Pretty much equivalent to NTDEV's video, but that's not something bad. Moreover, this is the first time I stumble upon Pico11, I couldn't find it earlier. Great job :D Also, you don't have to install Windows 2000 - just make the FAT16 partition "active" in diskpart (and regular bootsect + bcdboot later, which you performed) - you can check my video how I did that with Windows 10
Love the video but your text is barely on the screen for longer than a couple seconds before it disappears so i usually end up having to go back and pause to read other than that great content keep it up!
@@letssaylalala if that's the case, my device sucks with virtualization it's not even smooth as i want it to be. it's really sluggish and even swapped to linux to use the kernel to virtualize
always love to see more people divulging in the enderman/flytech/etc style of videos. I'll definitely be checking out more.
Also great video!

@Super_songs-9 What?
Yoo come on windows here
It's cool to see Windows 11 running on Fat16! Great job!
This reminds me of enderman. But good video
Gotta love how FAT16 is just called FAT (ik its 1984 MS-DOS partition)
“Hey do you have a FAT drive?”
“NO! My hard drive isn’t fat!”
“No, not tha- forget it.”

Nice video, on your new laptop
amazing video!
Microsoft: "Win11 require TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, Dx12, 64GB of space and 4GB Ram"
This guy: "Here my 1.9GB FAT16 Win11 installation"
This is INSANE

Huh, wonder what if I just made it so windows in in ext4.
why win 11 still 21h2?
Author has not released a new Pico11 build since, so that's why it is still on 21H2
can u give me link to download pico11?
Will be uploaded later, thanks
Install Windows 11 but the main system drive has the A drive letter
Do Windows 11 on DVD (Use DVD RW drive)
What's wrong with ntfs now?
Nothing wrong with it, this was an experiment to see how well Windows works on other file system than NTFS
@@10GTech does it work flawlessly with every other file system?
Is bro using light version of win11?
In the VM, yes
Next time try installing Windows 11 to a ext4 partition
You gotta do basic FAT
Do you mean FAT12?
I guess one of my 1gb sd cards has format option FAT
Just FAT
Lmao
@@kokoso1 That FAT option is FAT16, same as in the video.
Device Name :BANANA

do FAT8
It does not exist, FAT12 is the lowest and it's not possible to fit an modern OS on since the maximum size is 32MB per partition
@@10GTech FAT8 nữa, nó thay thế cho FAT32 và sử dụng phần mềm chuyên dụng

100th like!
now do it with a file format without support like btrfs
Btrfs does not support Windows 11 for now, only for 10 up to 22H2
Fat16 Support 4 GB Disk..
Forgot that when recording, oops.
@@10GTech and you were really able to install windows 11 on a 2 GB disk 💀
It's possible to fit Windows 11 on a 2GB disk by sacrifice many things out and know what files to remove/delete afterwards.
pico11 !? boku no pico (dont watch it)
Bro what
Another one that steals enderman's style
