In fact, all the problems you encounter are system bugs. You only need to do the corresponding processing in advance to easily solve them. About Windows 11 on exFAT, I have written a detailed installation tutorial many years ago. First of all, for VMware installation, it is recommended to prioritize using Legacy boot, which will be much faster than UEFI boot. For the problem that BSOD is triggered at startup, this is a bug of "Brokering File System Filter Driver". It can be solved by deleting the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\bfs" item. It only occurs in Win11 v22H2. The bug has been fixed in Build 25231 and later versions. The problem that the system UWP such as the start menu and settings cannot be opened is a bug of "Shim DataBase". It can be solved by deleting the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\SdbUpdates" item. As for the problem of the operating system running very slowly, it is a bug in "Smart App Control". You can solve it by changing the "VerifiedAndReputablePolicyState" key value in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\CI\Policy" item to "0". Finally, you can consider remaking the patched video and publishing it. hoping that this will be the best use experience.

Really good. I think reason it became slower is Windows reads/writes on NTFS faster thats why its very slow. I don't think 8 cores impact speed that much there. (Also could the subtitles last a little longer)

Impossible, Windows 11 is x64 only, can't install on a 32 bit host VM.
@@talibong9518 I tried installing Windows 7 x64 vm on a Windows XP SP3 x86 host and it worked, because Virtualbox supports installing 64-bit guest os on 32-bit host os. However, when I install Windows 11, the vm always gets a bsod when booting, the stop error is thread_exception_not_handled, the driver causing bsod is intelppm.sys

In fact Windows 8 and later supports exFAt boot, just some features that strictly requires NTFS to work (UWP, OneDrive,....)
