I have always liked the MAX. Only downside are those turret rails at the stern. Old design of course but it looks like they learned from it with the Starlancer. Looking forward to this one.
the turret should be there the docking collar is and the center door needs to be removed. Other then that it was my first ship and love it need some work though.
The Freelancer is my daily. It has a smaller footprint than the C-1 Spirit but can hold twice as much, including a Rover. I'm on the ropes about the Starlancer. They're both enticing but, I own an A2 and will probably be getting an M2 as well. Both handle the jobs of the new Max and Tac better. One could argue that the Starlancer Max is easier to solo but.... I'm not so sure about that. In safe space maybe. And to that, so could the M2/A2. So I'm finding it very difficult to apply a ccu upgrade for either of them. If you don't have the Hercules, then these are definitely great choices. The Taurus is arguably a contender, but the Starlancers have more living space and from what I saw, feel more homie.
I'm looking forward to trying the starlancer, its the type of ship I have been waiting for an in between for the lower cargo and higher cargo, at 230 cargo it is in the middle
I like the freelancer max. I did a ship upgrade for it. I have since upgraded that to the starlancer max. I will most likely buy the freelancer max in game. I used it to ship my rmc back to new babbage to sell. You can easily stack off the grid lines at the back end no problems for that extra space since you can get in from the ladder side.
EXTREMELY HELPFUL NICELY DONE . SO CAN I ASK IF LETS SAY YOU WERE GOING TO PIRATE SOMEONES CARGO AND NEEDED A SHIP THAT COULD HAUL A LARGE AMOUNT OF CARGO WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR HAVING TO FIGHT OFF A SHIP RIDING SHOTGUN FOR THE HAULER WHAT SHIP WOULD YOU USE
The max is decent, but a C1 in this would be great as a solo. It can get 96 cargo in easy off grid in 3 boxes if they have size 32 and is nimble enough to put up a fight
I CCU'd my FL MAX to a CL.. after playing with the CL for a few days now I am slightly regretting my choice. I will keep trying it out but it may end up being melted to MAX gotten back from buyback.
I'm currently in the same boat, I had the C1 because it was a loaner for the Zeus, Now I don't have the C1 and have the Zeus, Ill play with it for a bit then maybe melt
Similar situation here. Tried both the ES and CL variants. ES is basically a budget 400i, and the CL was definitely not to my taste. Problem is, really don't know what to get.
if you hover the 2scu boxes on the outside of the ship, next to the airlock, they'll pop into the ship. Mess around with it, you'll find the magic spot. I have no helpful info on getting them out easy.
@@NoobsGamingSC I agree. They should remove that room, or make the cargo door bigger and stay open when the player is farther away. I say, get rid of the airlock. The side door would then become an airlock when you dock with something.
i tried 1h and give up, if you load it this way its not working with the grid, start with the 24scu and 1x4 on top, then 1x16 with 1x4 on top and in the end the 1x2, the other wway around like in the video its hitting the turret or the pipes on the roof
Nice! Poor turret gunner 😢 I’d rather have a Starlancer, Connie Taurus, or Zeus cl personally but fly what ya like Oh wait you can walk around the boxes
I can't wait to see your break down on loading the zeus cl. The new hauling missions with us loading the cargo has added a new mini game of tetris to the game.

I loved this ship until it started blowing up in 3.18 when a box touched the ramp, looks like that is all sorted now

That would have been so much better

I wish they would fix the scanners in it for Roc Mining.

I Used to love the max in 3.18
Nice video. The max is clean. Still holds up as one of, it not the best light/medium haulers.
Thank you, I agree it was a great ship, until it started exploding with cargo touching it, but that seems sorted now
Hey man, I know its not even out yet, but I cant wait for a starlancer MAX video (if you plan on doing so)
Edit: seems like you plan on doing so :)
Yes I can’t wait to do it, the fl max was one of my fav ships I can’t wait to try the sl max

Thank you for the advice, I’ll try that. It is a bit fiddle but this was around before cargo was physical, a few ships will need a rework I think

getting bunch of 16 and 4 boxes could be faster + multiple doubles
putting 16 + 2x4 on top and so on

Yes you can walk around easily, I bought the starlancer and this was the loaner
Freelancer!!! Oh can you do a review of the starlancer MAX when you get it?. Thinking of upgrading from my Taurus.
I will I’ll more than likely get it in ptu as soon as available
@@NoobsGamingSC Thanks in advance!
