- A big shoutout to AJ for this Patron-sponsored video!!! What a fantastic idea :) Keyboard typing is such a good trigger for me personally so I was surprised I actually had never made one!
I do some pretty fast typing in this, as well as keyboard sounds, like brushing the keys and tapping. The first bit is whispered, and then from 15:30 on is pretty much just close-up typing.

the keyboard looks cheap and fragile, why is everyons so into apple products, just get a pc like a normal person, they've been doing it for the longest and have far more experience. Infact PC stands for personal computer with a mac is, a over price pc that is.
google inc duuuuuh... That keyboard is in fact not cheap and when you would have used it, you would know that it IS pretty good. Don't get me wrong, I don't like Macs either but don't just hate a product just because it's by Apple.
Glad you're getting a mechanical keyboard. Collecting them is my hobby. I can suggest you a ton of keyboards, but there are some preferences you should have yourself. I personally love 60% keyboards (No numpad, arrow keys, FN keys, etc.) so I can really only recommend you brands for those. The POK3R is really great. Nice build quality, has a wide variety of switches available, backlighting, etc. The Anne Pro is another great 60% keyboard because it has Bluetooth functionality. It uses Gateron Switches instead of the normal Cherry Switches, which is not necessarily a bad thing because a lot of people agree with the fact that Gateron switches are a bit smoother. I personally love Topre switches, they are electro-capacitive switches that feel tactile and have a soft touch, almost like you're typing on butter. I own a HHKB Pro 2 and a HHKB Type S, they are in my opinion the best topre keyboards out there. They have some key placements switched though (Such as Control being in the place of Caps Lock), so be aware of that. Well, a hobby is a hobby! To be honest all I wrote here is just the tip of the iceberg, there are many more routes you can take in the mechanical keyboard community.
xiClann Heyy!!! My best friend had a Vortex poker III RGB with cherry MX blues and I have a KBP V60 with cherry MX reds. I must say however, the blues sound like the tracks of a tank. They're pretty awesome though.

A great mechanical keyboard is the Corsair Vengeance K70 (it comes in standard red led lights or rgb) and you can choose between either cherry mx red switches (non tactile keys) cherry mx brown switches (tactile with no click) or cherry mx blue (tactile with an audible click).

They should've made pre-eoc runescape, with things like the second pray book from sentisten still in the game, but not quite oldschool. So you get to keep your progress.

So if you want to have a loud clicky keyboard you should choose blue switches. There are several keyboards with these keys but the best come from Corsair, trust me i experienced by myself.
If you want to have a normal loud keyboard which doesn't click bit it makes a little bump you should get the brown key taps. Again Corsair makes the best..😊.
And last but not least if u want a normal tap not that loud but satisfying you should get the red key taps.

Personally, I can suggest a Ducky keyboard with Cherry MX red or Cherry MX brown switches. Highly responsive and fairly quiet although with a mechanical keyboard you will have a louder experience no matter the key switch you decide to go with. MX reds and browns are heavy and are a tactile but not "clicky" or loud kind of key. They have a sort of exponential force decrease where it is very easy to move them to the actuation point however it increases as you move the key down. This deceleration in force allows your fingers, even when typing at fast speeds, to have a smoother and less pressured landing which is what often leads to hand problems. The problem with your current Apple keyboard is that, while compact, quiet, and wireless, the actuation and hit points are almost identical causing your finger to land on surface hard and heavy causing large damage over time. Anyway just a few thoughts. I have worked with mechanical keyboards for a while and those have been very good to me, although currently I am using Cherry MX Silver keys for gaming (they are linear with very low force and actuation point).
