- Hello hello :) Welcome back to another sort of trigger compilation / ramble as we explore some fun face-touching objects, which quite conveniently naturally adds in some up-close ear whispers C:

Med student here: to answer the question as to why your face is sensitive in comparison to other parts of your body isn’t because of having more nerve endings, per say; it’s actually because the skin cells of the face are a lot smaller than, for example, your arm’s skin cells. That cellular composition, ipso facto, makes your face skin thinner. That’s why most people’s face skin tends to be extremely sensitive and so easy to dry out. Osmosis happens stupid quick across the thin skin barrier of the face. Also, there’s less skin cells between the nervous cells of the face and the things on the skin’s surface; thusly more sensitivity.

sun shine trigger means that, that 1 certain thing will give you chills or goosebumps. You have face touching triggers, tapping triggers, scratching triggers, certain words can be triggers thats why you'll see a lot of ASMRtist say the same words. Also go check out her video what is asmr that can give you a more detailed insight. Hope I helped. 🤷🏼♀️

When I was a little kiddo, maybe 4-7 years old I distinctly remember my mom and dad (prior to inevitable divorce) giving me these back tickle/massages to put me to sleep. I never slept well, ever - unless they did that.
