A few months ago I watched the “Bank on It” video and when I was looking for work about a month after, I decided to give it a shot with a credit union. It’s seriously been the best job I’ve ever had and seriously, if anyone reading this is ever looking for work, go for a credit union job. It’s so calm and the work is like an ASMR lover’s paradise
The slow and deliberate counting of the money was what got me. It brought me soooo much ASMR and relaxation, I couldn't help but slip into a trance-like state. It's soooo hypnotizing. I love the switching between slow and fast counting too. Not gonna lie, that was my favorite part of the entire video.
This is the type of RP you make that help me out of flashbacks (or near flashbacks), personal hair attention, make up, doctor never work for that purpose. But RPs like this, and the one where you were a home decorator helping me choose tiles, the wedding planner, that kind, are so helpful. Because I can't be back in that bad location having those bad things happen to me. Why? Well clearly because I'm talking to Maria about my banking issues, I trick my brain into believing it and it helps me out of the flashback. I used to make "bank runs" at my old job where I would take a bunch of notes and have them converted to coins for the register. I would always get mad asmr from the bank teller whispering counting the notes out and putting them into neat piles. That's why I would always volunteer for the bank run.

Absolutely loved the end when you were making calls in the background - I found it really immersive as if I was actually sat with you reading the stuff as you were still working. I don't know if it was just a nice change from like most roleplays focusing on "us". Not sure if that makes sense or if anyone felt the same 😅

I used to make "bank runs" at my old job where I would take a bunch of notes and have them converted to coins for the register. I would always get mad asmr from the bank teller whispering counting the notes out and putting them into neat piles. That's why I would always volunteer for the bank run.

Counting cash for sure. As an aside one of my favorite triggers ever was the librarian using sticky notes to check out books. If you ever did something like that again or like... creating a dream board with sticky notes it would be cherished
