Extremely professional presentation and great delivery of essential info. I’m impressed!
Thank you. :)
Very well made review, thank you. I have been comparing this with some asus routers and the nighthawk ones as a wifi6 hub for my home and Oculus quest 2. I think I'm going to go with this one because of its availability and price here in canada.
Aye that's me in the intro!
by the way i have purchased this router and i am very much satisfied with it. Great product from tp link
Yep.
Just got this a few months ago and its working flawlessly. I thinks its the best Dual Band router at that price category.
Hi! Thanks for the informative video. I have just purchased this router and have a question. I have a 200 mbps up/down plan and I am getting the speed until I am not too far from the router. But if I am 2 rooms away, my download is still strong at full 200mbps but upload reduces by about 30-50%. Can you please confirm if it's the same for you? I ha e checked on 3 different wifi 6 enabled devices. Thanks!
Great video. Helped my buying decision. One query though; is it possible to connect multiple external USB disks via a USB hub?
Hi bro, what you do all for these open box items after videos? 🙄
do you resell them? 🙄
by the way, i was looking for AX73 review. Thanks :)
Super👍 .... You make good💯 videos. You're the best technical RUclipsr 👌
Best tech review ever!! fast and to the point, no nonsense..
Thanks :)
Have you ever tried the vpn on any router? Is it a client or a server ? And does the vpn server work when behind a cgnat?
Can you compare this one with Archer AX72? AX72 is 2k less and have almost same feature.
Hi Siddharth Wanted to know i am looking to increase the connectivity in my 3 BHK 2100 sq ft. With act fiber of 200 mbps should I choose ax73 or deco x60. I have a tp link ac1900 in master bedroom which is connected to lan cable through act router. Kindly suggest. Need connectivity in whole of the flat. confused between deco x60 and ax73 as both are priced identically.
Perfect review ... waiting for this
Thanks! :)
Nice presentstion sir. Which tplink router i can purchase? Ax 73 or new ax 72 pro? Both are 5400 mbps
Which version is sold in India today? v1, v2 or v2.2 ?
The antenna height is more then AX50 ? Or Is it the same as Archer C6/A6 ?
The only review i have been waiting!!
Also can you please tell me if we can access basic qos features are included in the basic homeshield? Im planning to take the AX90 . Thanks!
Yeah, basic QoS features are included for free. Though, I am only able to select devices for high priority, which could be all that you need.
@@TechReflex thanks a lot!! It made my purchase decision easier now! Great content btw! Cheers!
But it's price is rising. At first launch price - ₹9000
Again price ₹9999
Now price ₹10999 in amazon.in
Wonderful review.
Greetings.. I have an Asus RT-AC87U Router , nearly 7 years old. Over the years my devices have grown and recently added 3 Deco X60 in a mesh configuration as access points with ethernet back haul . I live in a large 5600 sq. ft. , 3 floor home (concrete floors , 12 inch brick walls) . The home is covered by cat 6 cabling , so all heavy media centers ( 1 home theater and 2 smaller setups , all 4K , Netflix , Hotstar , +++) are wired ( TV's , Roku's , 4 K Fire Sticks , Apple TV , NVidia ) . I am into home automation so have a number of 2.4 Ghz camera's , smart devices. I also have a Zigbee set up ( about 34 devices) on a HA server . There would be about 50 + WiFi devices and about 20 + wired devices accessing the internet ( thru the Deco Mesh and some on the Asus Router) . While about 40 devices access through the deco mesh , and 20+ are wired , all the DHCP protocols are handled by the Asus Router . I would like to upgrade the router , to one capable of handling multiple devices. The WiFi coverage is not very important as the Deco Mesh would cover the home . Any suggestions as to the path I should take ? Your thoughts most welcome. I live in Bangalore.
sir please reply. how many numbers of device connect at a time.
I fully understand why you speak so quickly, to keep the review as short as possible without compromising on your review detail. Your STRONG Indian accent is very difficult to understand so the subtitles are a useful addition. There is one mistake in the subtitles, stating that the router has 6 NON removable antennas but the subtitles read removable antennas. Otherwise a good review.
By the way, here in the UK its available at Amazon now at just £99.99 which is almost £50 cheaper than is typical for the suppliers that actually have it on the shelves.
Incidentally thanks to your reviews I cancelled my order for the AX50 in favour of the AX73 router. I am CERTAIN that I won't be disappointed. Keep up the great work.
The price must have been a special one day offer because it rose to £169. Sorry guys I suppose I was just lucky, "right place right time".
UPDATE: Wow that price seems to have been a one day ONLY offer and I have had to wait what seems like a LONG time for delivery, (expected today) the cheapest I have seen the router since ordering is £179 so I got a real bargain, assuming it lives up to expectations.
Hi @TechReflex please help me I’m new to this wifi router stuff, i have a big house (2bhk x4) basically the whole floor so i need two range extenders and a main router should i go for a mesh system or will this work with my existing tp link 300mbps wireless N routers?
@techreflex can you help to setup bridge network on this router
My internet speed is 150 Mbps. I connect one laptop, one 12.4 inch tablet, one smartphone and one Desktop via Wi-Fi. I now use TP link Archer C6 AC 1200 (Wi-Fi 5) router. If I replace the router with Archer C7 AC 1750 router (Wi-Fi 6), shall I get more upload and download speed in my laptop and Desktop?
You have another video on archer c6 what’s the difference between archer c6 and this
i have jio fiber connection with 30mbos speed. can i connect this router to jio fibre... please tell
That's not bad speed for the second flat, so the best practice is to have less walls for a better signal?
Is this actual WiFi 6 with 6ghz or just 5.8?
@TechReflex Between Asus AX3000 and TP Link AX73, which is better in terms of throughput and adaptive QoS?
Asus would be more feature rich and should generally be better, however, you may get more raw performance out of AX73. You could also spend slightly more and get Asus RT-AX82U or their new TUF router and you'll get performance of AX73 with Asus features.
@@TechReflex thank you! You really are tech reflex!!
how many device connect at a time..
d-link AX5400 or TP-LINK Archer AX73 AX5400
Which one is better ?
Great video bro
Make a video with tplink AX90
Hi I was wondering if you have any suggestions for budget routers. I've looked at the AX10, 20, 23 and 50 but it's hard to say what I need for a large two bedroom apartment. My internet is 500mb so I want to make sure that I can fully use that.
Buy Ax20 or Ax53
You can go with TP link Archer AX53 or TP link Archer AX55.
Very nice keep it up
Can you please please tell honestly which one should I buy under 3k - one audio pro 10 or one audio a71 ?
A71, I think I've made that clear in my video on it.
@@TechReflex thanks 🙏🙏
Hi, I have a doubt. I can see TP link series like AX10, AX50 & now AX 73. My req is not high speed. The max speed suppt I need is less than 200Mbps. But I need ultimate coverage for 2 floors. Will AX73 have a significant difference in terms of coverage as well or if it is only speed I can go for AX 10 or 50. Could you please advise
Simply put, what your ISP provides is your broadband, the speed is the speed, and you cannot change it without subscribing to a faster service. At the consumer end however wifi is only a means of connecting to the broadband service and other devices on your local network LAN and gateway i.e. where you connect to the internet.
You want wider coverage and not extra speeds you should look at Mercusys Halo S12 (3-Pack) AC1200 Mbps whole home Mesh system. There are three access points and this will give you a wide area coverage more evenly spread across a wider area and it will cost you about £50 GBP www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=Mercusys+Mesh&crid=1MVVYV43P9EWO&sprefix=mercusys+mesh%2Caps%2C241&ref=nb_sb_noss_1
I hv used ax 50.....bt range and speed of ax 73 is best ...go for ax 73 best router
Hey bro, how much is the speed difference between cheap wifi 6 routers like the dlink or tplink ax1500 and expensive ones like Asus?
Difference over distance is significant, 4 x 4 MU MIMO routers have better wall penetration. But this only matters over speeds of 200 mbps.
@@TechReflex Thanks 🥳
This seems very nice 👍🏻
But should we wait for WiFi 6E ❓️
How do these WiFi 6 routers work? Do u need to have an existing broadband package for it to work or can u literally just buy a router and then you have fast Internet?
You have to have a fast data speed plan from your ISP, as router will be limited to the speed you get from your ISP.
Brother why you didn't reviewed ax20 in your channel.. is it not worth to buy .. ??
No that's also good, but I can only review a limited number of devices, so that was too similar to AX10 and AX20
does it have band steering
I have this router and I like it. Range of 5ghz is very good,it covers my 2 floor home..but didn't know the speed limit of this cause my internet speed is only 100mbps. I considered ax50 but heard about heating issue.
If you have a speed limit, then you have lightly the wrong settings in either the router or your laptop / phone.
Great review, thank you. I will stick to my original choice which was the Asus RT AX82U
Hey, need some headphone recommendations - HD 599 vs He400Se vs Shp9600
I think HE400SE should be the best, but it will require a headphone Amp to sound proper, unlike the other two (which also benefit from dedicated Amp, but should should sound good even directly on PC/phone).
@@TechReflex something like the tempotec sonata hd pro/ fiio e10k would be enough?
No, you'll need something more powerful, like ZenDAC
@@TechReflex okay 🥲
which is the best router under 10k right now ? and what is your opinion about Genexis FiberTwist 6000 ?
This is best, don't know about Genxis
@@TechReflex Okay thank you
You can go with TP link Archer AX 72 as well.
I bought it but USB drive access was too slow over the wifi, so I returned. Could you please make a video on ASUS AX3000 Dual Band WiFi 6 (802.11ax) Router, thinking to buy it.
I just tried USB file transfer over Wi-Fi with my PC, and it reached up to 87 MB/s, but on my Android phone, the transfer was slower, so the USB port of the router isn't slow, but I think it's something related to how Android handles things, as I tried ftp mode and it was 12MB/s, which is quite slow. If you're going up to the AX3000, I'd definitely consider spending a bit more to get the RT-AX82U, as it is an amazing router that isn't too far in price from the AX3000. I could try to cover it, it's just that it's a bit older now.
@@TechReflex RT-AX82U is good option. Thanks for your suggestion.
I'm having problems with this router where the 5ghz network disconnects and does not appear on certain devices while working perfectly fine on others. Have you experienced something like this? Do you know how I may be able to fix this issue?
Try setting the 5ghz channel to 36, 40, 44 or 48 instead of auto.
@@TechReflex I have it on 40mhz and channel 157
@@jsdjatt1 change channel to 44, you can keep width to auto.
In wifi 2.4 ghz i am not able to get good bandwidth i am getting around 72 mbps modem speed what is the deffect.
Even 5ghz speed is also comming 473 mbps modem conection what is this. please help me if, i also updated the latest driver which automatically taken.
Try to disable QOS and check if its improving
Is there a big difference between this and and the ax72 model?
Difference of processor
I can't decide between ASUS TUF-AX5400 vs Tp-Link Archer AX73. The specification is very similar, but I'm interested in stability and WIFI coverage. Maybe someone can share the experience.
Havent tested TUF router, but Asus software is much better and feature rich. It should also perform better than TP Link in most areas.
This vs asus rt ax 82u just in terms of range..which is better?
RT AX82U has better range. Around 8-10 feet bigger circle, which could make a significant difference.
@@TechReflex Thanks. So what are those 6 antennas for in tp link when they cannot compete with 4 on the asus one. 😋
Never judge a router by the number of antennas it has :P
How about the issues with TP-LINKs suddenly dropping bands?
Have been using this router personally since this video got published, haven't faced a single issue like that.
@@TechReflex check the internet. Theyre own forumns are full of this issue across all models.
@@TechReflex and when you send them an email explaining everything youve tried, they send you back a poorly worded response asking you try all of the things you wrote them that you already tried!
Hey, I just bought this device and it says on the back the model is Archer AX73(EU) Ver:1.0. Do you know if there is a newer version of this router? I would not want to miss out on some functionality due to ordering an older version of the device in case a newer one has been released.
No, it should be the same one, they generally have different hardware nos. For the updates, but this is a new device so should be in 1.0, even if there's an update it doesn't make a difference in performance.
@@TechReflex Thank you.
D-Link vs tp link vs tenda vs Netgear which makes better products?
I've tried TP Link and D link, both make great products, TP Link's UI seems better but D link router I tested recently really performed amazingly well for its price.
Happy independence Day ,🇮🇳
✨🇮🇳✨
Which range is better ? This tp link or the Asus router ?
Depends on which asus router ur mentioning
Bro try to show ping test too with some mobile games like pubg 😇
3:57 can be used as extender
1. Ethernet connection required
2. deviced connected would be considered in different network
Ethernet doesn't count as wireless range extender (the feature that routers like the ones from Asus have), of course every router can be used as an access point with ethernet.
what is the warrenty peroid on the wifi router ?
TP link give 3 years warranty on the routers
AX73 VS AX90?
4 monitors is def the sweet spot :P
😎
👍
Will it produce any radiation, is it safe to use in home purpose
Yeah of course, it's safe.
@@TechReflex thank you bro
where have you shared the speed test?
In the performance section of the video
@@TechReflex You are only telling the speed , you are not showing the practical test of speed bhai
10k is not called affordable bhai lol, nice review btw
Thanks, by 'Affordable high performance' I meant that it is much cheaper than something like Asus RT-AX82U which costs 18,000 while offering very similar performance.
Hey man, nice vid, thanks for the review, i would have liked maybe a quick summary of the most useful features which are missing in the Ax73 compared to the Asus, but other than that great :)

Asus RT-AX55 much better than this asus have 1.5GHz quadcore processor
Why are you talking so fast???? You give a lot of unimportant informarion and you do not explain how to activate IPV6
It's easy please take a look at the documentation. If your ISP supports that works by toggling a couple of options in admin web console
