The back foot is fine. The lead foot is the one you do not want to turn like a boxer because of low kicks. I still feel like having the back foot 45 allows me to open my hip more the kick and block easier and faster. Hope that helps 👊

Question. I'm more dutch style kickboxing then muay thai. Is it ok if i stand like a boxer back foot 90 front foot not so 45 but close to it?

why are you looking at the ground? I know you have to keep your chin down but isn't it better to look straight ahead to visualize who you're hitting?
