Thanks for the video. Three add-ons: Here in Europe we see more and more stainless steel pools. We actually have one sitting in our backyard 🤣! And we love it, beautiful, very easy to maintain, lasts for decades, but they are expensive. Second: You need a space to put all the technique, the pumps, the filters etc. Sometime you can place it in your house, we decided to have a separat little basement built just for that, some extra 10'000. Third: Usually, when you get your backyard messed up anyway, you tend to want to add something else. For us it was a larger barn for all the garden-stuff and light everywhere, for others it might be a special grill-area, etc. So expect way more than the thirty or fifty grand, only think about it when you can afford it - but then you will enjoy it day in and day out! Even in winter we just love how it looks, we always turn the lights on in the evening. Greetings from Switzerland in the middle of Europe.
Pool installation has Doubled Our first pool in 2017 was $35,000 we moved and installed a new pool at a cost of $ 89,000 we were shocked it was that much .
Truth. The decking is gonna cost more than the pool in most cases. And of course he doesn’t mention that nor does he mention the equipment costs (heating, filtration, lighting, etc). It’s a stupid video
Don’t forget the cost of redoing your irrigation system and paying to have your drainage pipe fixed and rerun when they damage it/crush it when they dig the pool. Especially if you live in a place with clay like Virginia
Concrete and Fiberglass pool fare the best against challenging weather, but much of the damage done by the Texas freeze was to pool equipment and plumbing. Winterizing your pool will protect it from being damaged in cold weather. Since most Texans didn't winterize their pools, the freezing temperatures combined with the inability to run pool pumps caused equipment sets and plumbing to freeze, crack, and break.
I live in California. In 2014 I had my in-ground swimming pool professionally demolished and converted into a beautifully landscaped rose garden. I obtained city permits for said demolition and a required geological report for final city approval. It cost around 11K for everything. I never looked back. Pools aren’t for everyone, especially in drought-stricken Southern California.
@@Joe-qv2qc that's the typical size people get in Minnesota. The prices are insane up here. That comes with auto cover, heater and 4' of concrete surrounding
3:04 Premier Pools & Spas is the largest builder on the planet, 2 seconds later a map of USA. 😂😂 Didn't know that one country is considered to be a whole planet 😂
20,000 for a pool? Maybe a basic above ground pool, yeah... Stop setting the standard for what pool's should be at stupidly low rates! You're destroying the industry for those of us who plan on being in business for longer than 2 years.

The going rate for a 20×40 pool with automatic cover start at $80-100k in Minnesota. Its a ripoff
20x40 is way to big, standard size is 30x15 six feet deep and you dont need an automatic cover, auto covers are junk
