- I haven't found a better tasting burger anywhere. This burger is the best I have had anywhere. This triple patty cheeseburger is by far the best. No salad, just burger - with crinkle cut fries and a third course of frozen custard. Originated in Madison Square Park New York City.
Shake Shack in Westfield Stratford is Off the Charts - as Darren John would say. If you stay till the end, you will see the Olympic Park Stratford.

There is just something special about your vlogs Darren. I find them so relaxing to watch and very informative too. Burger looked amazing. It's a shame the sculpture from Ground Zero is not in a more prominent position. It deserves to never be forgotten.

Hey DJ! It’s great to know what that dessert was. I haven’t been to shake shack but it looks really nice. Lovely crinkle chips. No way could I eat a triple burger though. Your filming today was exceptional. Stunning footage of Stratford and the Olympic areas. Great to see its being used for something after the event. Hard to believe that was 10 years ago now. Hi Darren, I’ve been to the Shake Shack in Brent Cross Shopping Centre and it certainly didn’t disappoint, it was top quality. I agree with you in that you generally get what you pay for so I don’t have a problem spending money on food that I enjoy. I worked in Stratford some 49 years ago, just down wind from a glue factory but I’m quietly confident that the glue factory is a distant memory and happy to see that Stratford looks like a nice place. I particularly enjoyed your bluesy, country, steel guitar background music, very nice.

When you get back to the states you need to get out of NYC and come down south for the best food. There's a Texas based burger chain in the deep south called Whataburger, you won't find them up north, they're from Tx to Fl. And have been in business since 1950. The best burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Their double meat burger with jalapeños kicks ass as well as their patty melt.

Now that is what I call a burger, love the way your trying different things at chains there are some great places out there and thanks to you were getting to see all this quality food. I agree you get what you pay for and I would willingly pay that for food that looked superb.

Incredible to see these areas like Stratford, White City and Battersea Power Station regenerated. Certainly an improvement from the places they were in the 80s, just wonder what the cost has been to the Londoner’s who lived there in those days, of course I’m referring to the working classes. ❤️

If you're ever in the North East, I would highly recommend Meat Stack in Newcastle City centre. Unbelievable burgers. Best I've ever had. Rate My Takeaway and Food Review Club have been there and both rated them as one of the best around.

Growing up in Stratford in the 1970s it's amazing how much it has changed.
On the site of the Olympic park was where my late father use to work for British Rail.
Shows what you can do to an area when you spend Billions of pounds, bit like Battersea.
I must make a visit to Westfield one day, whenever I go back I usually go to Leytonstone pie mash shop

What a quality burger, rammed full of meat and cheese on a fresh bun. Chips and dessert looked very good too. We need some of those of those places in Australia. Off the charts, 10/10 from me. Well done young Darren.

Nothing like a good burger place. Er do not have that chain here but we do have 2 great independent burger joints. You cheeseburger looked amazing!
Check out the National Burger Awards on Feb 22 at Islington electrowerkz. Three finalists from London. Bleecker’s double cheeseburger, Leytonstone Tavern’s The Bone Daddy featuring roasted bone marrow and Hache which has restaurants in Clapham, Camden and Holborn. No Shake Shack. Sorry Darren. Salty, crispy ends of a hamburger patty are the best finished down with soda pop. RIP Peanut Butter milkshake. Even though a little on the pricey side, I love it. Double meat, Fries and a Drink go for about $20 US in Austin Texas.
Shake shack are masters of the burger world(although Five Guys are really really good as well.Their cheeseburger is excellent)and their triple cheeseburger is legendary.It's so off the charts the chart it's almost of no use Darren...Great fries and a awesome looking desert as well..shame you didn't go for one of their milkshakes..once tried..never forgotten.
I rate the triple cheeseburger 10+ out of 10(the fries and desert both get 10 out 10 too)

Also loved the little walk around at the end. It's so cool that you guys have Westfield over there because the first ever Westfield was opened in Blacktown in Sydney in 1959. 🇦🇺 I have a Westfield just up the road from me but mine is nowhere near as big and fancy as yours 😂
I still think the London Olympics are probably my favourite so loved seeing Olympic Park at the end. I had no idea America had donated part of the Trade Centre, so that was amazing to see. Definitely brings back all the memories of when it happened and when I visited Ground Zero not long after. Again thanks for sharing. The filming and music was top notch as always!! Loved it!! 😁💙

I do love a shake shack but you have to try Honest burgers if you haven't already!! My absolute favourite. There are a few in London (including spitalfields, up one of Jack the Rippers old alleyways) and each have their own special item on the menu. Also rosemary fries are included and very reasonable! Would like to know what you think Darren

These are great burgers 🍔 said couple times but a great independent place for burgers I’d recommend with a twist of flavours try the inbetween fusion burgers 👍 and got history there where Arsenal ⚽️ used to be based originally, and I’m a spurs fan 😂 and the royal arsenal is nice little village to go by the Thames with gastro pubs
