@@inderkaur2387 IELTS not required when you apply for partnership based work visa. But when you apply for a partnership based resident visa later, you need an IELTS overall band score 5.

Sometimes, considering your resident partner's situations and your educational qualifications, they may agree to continue the application with out IELTS also. Totally depends on the case officer who is handling the application.

@@nibuthomas1149 Hi, I am not an immigration expert. But,I can say from experience that the timeframe is too long these days. If it is for next year, I hope things will be much faster. I have heard that for level 9 courses, there won't be much difficulty to get a spouse visa.
