Just had to follow up and let you know this was one of the easiest and most delicious sandwiches i ever made. I used individual club rolls for mine. Definitely going to add this to the rotation. Great recipe!
I love using the slow cooker. This looks incredible. Reminds me of the famous Philadelphia pork sandwich. I was sure he was from some Chicago suburb at first. Iowa is close enough.
Will have to make this in April! I make a lot of pork roasts BBQ, etc to take a long for race outings(stepson & grandson race Outlaw Dirt Karts in Iowa -Newton & Knoxville/English Creek) Concessions are great, but for so many it gets expensive$ Baked beans, cheesy potatoes & beef burgers or pork are so much better. I have 3 crockpots & a Instapot😳😆🤷♀️

This looks yummy! I'm a wondering if your oven is a confection over or a regular gas oven? I know your burners are gas. And why do you use Koshare salt instead of regular salt? I'd prefer to use Romaine lettuce instead of the arugula or those funky greens. Love these videos.

I will try this recipe soon. I went to a farm yesterday and they have many items that are made by the family. They had the jar of pickled veggies, but there was a different name. I can't remember the name, but it looks the same.
They are Nordic Ware Quarter Sheet pans. I have two and they are the best. Perfect size for two or smaller portions. I also have a few half sheet size for baking cookies during the holidays. Amazon sells them but I recommend checking your local stores that sell bakeware.
