  • What's going on crypto Universe! I hope everybody's is doing good! In this video, I finally had a chance to do an update video of the cell phone mining Farm. As you can tell it's a constant work in progress but I believe we finally got all the kinks worked out and it's time to finalize the builds and get hashing.

    Could you not power the phones using something like RJ45 solid core punched down into a patch panel?
    The RJ45 cables are 0.5mm - 1 mm thick, so should easily be capable of carrying around 5A of power which would be enough to power the phones I'd have thought. It would probably suck and need thicker cables (or simply double them up) for the phones which have USB / PD functionality.
    It might help reduce the thickness of all your cabling so that you can neaten it up or hide stuff more

    • @TheBitcoinMiner

      You know you're right, it sounds like a very promising idea. I'm going to have to think about it. we've been currently entertaining the idea of using Barrel Jack to make everything neater.

      @@TheBitcoinMiner not really. My older PCs hit a block like twice a month and the rewards are normally higher than base new mint. Hit one last year for around 30. My average is above what I would do in just a pool. I'd love to slave my phones to one of my nodes. I think if I could operate that way my rewards would be much better. Pools don't pay staking rewards. Even with the spikes of 900GH the networks been seeing I'm still hitting stakes and blocks.

    Im working on a phone farm, how do u manage the connections, adb?

    • @TheBitcoinMiner
      @TheBitcoinMiner  8 месяцев назад +1

      Some phones you can use a USB cable to connect directly some of them you need a dongle which will allow you to connect the mouse and the HDMI. The Samsung phones work better with USB connections. If the phone doesn't have a good screen we use a different screen and set everything up and then everything is managed through Wi-Fi we don't use the USB connectors to set anything up. We are running Terminix so you can SSH into the phones and Kyle has wrote scripts to help manage things by doing it that way. There's the management software he's been working on we're hoping to release in some way shape or form but it's still rough and needs more work.

      We're using the Linux emulator terminax To auto start mining with the phones there is no special program that I'm aware. In the current landscape, this venture maintains moderate profitability, typically allowing for a return on investment (ROI) within approximately two and a half to three years under prevailing market conditions. However, what sets this apart is the recent introduction of groundbreaking technology, such as the fee pool and the capability to create tokens and blockchains.
    As an example, when someone acquires a blockchain or a bridge, it now generates 50 Verus tokens per block, a substantial increase from the previous rate of 6 VRSC. Nevertheless, it's important to note that this enhanced generation rate gradually decreases over a 48-hour period if no further additions are made. So, while it might appear to be a lengthy ROI timeline to some, these technological advancements hold the potential for increased profitability over time. *This is not Financial advice please do your own homework!*

      Just buy a box phone farm… it’s much cheaper and much more efficient

    • @_droid
      @_droid 8 месяцев назад

      If you're in to technology this is interesting. If you're looking to make a profit this is NOT the way to do it. The general rule in crypto is you have 1 year to get to ROI just to *break even* (zero profit). That means you need a faster ROI to make a profit. 2-3 years is losing. If the coin goes down during that period you lose money. If the coin goes up then you could have just bought the coin now and not done all this work therefore getting more profit. Unless you own an custom ASIC manufacturing facility then mining is a fool's game.

      well if you don't have any upfront costs (buying phones, cables etc.) then the only charge you would incur id paying for power and the phones don't take much power to run. As far as virtualized I am looking into other ways myself ;)

    • @TheBitcoinMiner
      @TheBitcoinMiner  9 месяцев назад +1

      This is a two-part question as of right now it's moderately profitable. I would expect someone to ROI with any decent outlay of funds within about two and a half to three years in current conditions as it might seem to most but there's been newly released technology which enabled something called the fee pool and the activation of creating tokens and blockchains. For an example when somebody purchases a blockchain or a bridge it pumps out 50 Verus every block instead of 6 VRSC. This is just an example but the 50 VRSC will slowly drop over a 48 hour period if nothing else is added.,
