What "weird tent"? Are you referring to the Yurt? That is a weak piece (like the original fers in Shatranj and the mantri in the first chess variant, Chaturanga) and intended only as a bodyguard for the king. The king is represented by the Great Khan-type helmet. Incidentally, by calling the yurt (ger in Mongolian) a "weird tent" you are simultaneously insulting all the Turkic-speaking ethnic groups of central Asia, and the Mongols as well. I'd say that was pretty racist, and I don't use that term lightly.
@@DieFlabbergast No, I'm referring to the king/khan, afaik that piece was meant to be some sort of hat/helmet, but to me it looks more like a tent. Anyways my point is if a piece moves like a king and it's the objective of the game to mate it it would be way less confusing to just use the ordinary king image and repaint it to gold
Campmate is a great idea and super fun. Keeps the game exciting right down to the end, even when the escaping king is outnumbered
4:47 "All the rules are the same as regular chess, except for these changes. For a refresher of these rules, check out this video."
I was looking for a fresh a boardgame, thank you very much
Will Empire Mirror, Shinobi Mirror, etc. be added to Pychess?
I assume that in Orda Mirror the promotion rule is to either a Falcon or a Kheshig.
It's any piece of your choice
Very very Interesting 😃❤️
Like it
So do I. Well thought-out.
Yurt like Silver General from Shogi 😂😂😂😂😂
this is such a confusing variant

Why would anyone want to use this weird tent rather than ordinary king image?
Cool variant though
