It's crazy how Amy and Naomi make such similar facial expressions!
When I saw the film I did noticed she had a physical similarity to Amy, especially in her facial expressions.

I know if I was in their place, and I saw Amy Jo walk in, I'd probably faint. Like I was speechless when I met Erin Cahill, but when you see an original, words can't describe it. Like when I met David Yost, I could barely speak. I honestly don't think anyone truly realized how much of an impact this show has on people. And I honestly can't wait for the movie.

tgiacin435 I have met all the original cast (including bulk and skull) and got pictures. JDF is very cool and hands down the most fan friendly person I have met outside of Dean Cain. Walter and David were by far the nicest. Walter reminds you of a friend you haven't seen in a while and David is so respectful. Austin is awesome. Like talking to Jason. Seriously. Lol
Amy is stunning. She seriously is a knockout face to face and very sweet. Amy seemed a bit shy though but nice and she has a good spirit about her. And again... stunning. I actually was shocked at she really hasn't aged.
Want to meet them? Go to conventions. I met them all at different comic cons.
Azrael24 I've met David and Karen, and Zordon at rangerstop, from the mighty morphin era. Erin Cahill is so sweet to, her and Amy were the two pink rangers I wanted autographs from the most. Got Erin's, now for Amy. I also met Melody Perkins, and Hillary Shepherd.

I love Amy and Noami’s interactions. Ludi’s reaction to seeing her was great, but Noami’s was just perfect. You can definitely feel the bond when they hugged. I wish they did make the sequels that were supposed to happen. But I’m sure Amy and the rest of the original cast are proud of the movie’s cast with their take on the characters.

Yeah, the "you haven't aged." was a pretty good indication. But then, who didn't crush on Kimberly when they watched the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. He's also right.
I can't put into words how much this video warmed my heart. Amy Jo is the absolute best.

I love it when any of the guys show positive acknowledgement toward to the original show, and showing up like that was amazing. The only thing that would have been better is if Austin and Walter were with her.
They all pretty much look the same as they did back then, with the only exception being Austin, but he just looks bigger....still Austin though.
I remember winning tickets to the world premiere of the original movie and it being a defining moment of my young life.....of course I was heart broken that Thuy (my personal favorite R.I.P) and Walter and Austin wouldn't be in it (no disrespect, i just never took to the new guys).
I love how modest Amy is, but she shouldn't sell what they did short. They didn't need to be super human in the original, because they could all kick butt regardless. Those are very real skill and talent that they all brought to the table......except David, but he was just a late bloomer, he was holding his own before too long. :)
I just hope the new movie means to kids now, what it meant to me all those years ago. It's a legacy that deserves to live on. ...though slightly altered.
and i hope that they dedicate the movie to Thuy Trang......
I think what Amy did was that she was being modest with the new Kimberly, because the other girl she said she couldn´t do what Amy did, so this is why Amy brought the super power.

I grew up with the original mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I went to both theatrical movies and watched it allot until about the year 2001. When I heard they where doing this I got so excited. I also am excited that it is being released on my 35th birthday and I can take my 8 year old son to experience it. Maybe he will be Influenced by the good messages this show brings as I was by you Amy. I want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you for all the amazing memories I got from this as a child and all the fun times I had.
That was really fun to watch, they were so happy to see Amy Jo. I really hope to see some of the original cast show up at the LA premiere.

Hello Amy Johnson my name is david vega today tube the pleasure of watching the movie and I take a big surprise when I saw you with Jason David Frank the truth I did not expect it you mark my childhood with your characters on TV was such an emotion that I could not stop crying, my intention was forgotten. The people of the theatre had to give me water and a bag because it was hyperventilating was something that never was strained. My respect for the derector.

amazing. I had a crush on you when the show first came out. now you're a full grown married mom passing the torch to future generations who want to be a power ranger. this movie will be a good one.
If I had been there i would have stuttered the whole time, as a fan of the show from the beginning it would be like meeting one of my five childhood heroes. And as a new generation it must be special to get to know Amy. I'm so excited for this and i really hope it does well!
This must've been especially exciting for Naomi, since she is meeting the original actress that played Kimberly/the Pink Ranger, who she's portraying in this new movie.

Naomi was only being respectful to her predecessor. I don't think she takes away anything from the role. If anything, I think she adds to the series, and provides a voice that this generation is so severely missing.

THIS was AWESOME!!!!!! i LOVE moments like this where we the fans get a chance to see the actors and actresses when they are not in front of the camera. In this case, the shock and awe of the new cast was great to see. the respect they have for the original cast and the show, only strengthens my belief that the upcoming movie and thr franchise as a whole will remain strong.

Amy Jo Johnson is still the only member of the original MMPR cast that i haven't met yet, mainly because she's also the only one who hasn't attended Morphicon yet(i'm a Southern California resident), thats why i need to fly out of state if i want to finally meet her, even though she has become more comfortable with the Convention scene recently, apparently she is not comfortable yet to attend Morphicon, or not a Convention appearence in California yet either
well, she is doing some tours with JDF, maybe you should check the dates and places. You are still REALLY lucky that you could meet almost everyone,I can´t meet anyone because I live very very far away and not in USA :(.
Coming across this made my day. With the movie coming out my children have recently developed a love for Power Rangers. All they want to watch is the original series and movie. It has been so much fun for me to enjoy it with them! As a kid my play time was spent pretending to be Kimberly, I felt so strong and that I could do anything I wanted. Thanks, Amy, for bringing her to life and being my first hero :) #foreverpink
