I went to the Harley dealership set on a street glide. Nice bike btw. The salesman suggested I ride the Sport Glide. I actually thought about passing. So so glad I did not. After riding the two back to back. The Sport Glide is way more flickable. Happy to say I am a Sport Glide owner.
@@LOMROB exact same thing happened to me. Went in to test some of tourers and cruisers in 2018. Hadn't even heard of the new model SG. Not sure on any particular one as I was a little confused and about to leave, salesman suggested I try the SG. So near in passing over the offer but once I sat and rode it for 100 yards I knew that was it....I bought it right then and there and never looked back....best bike in HD lineup
I have had it since it's 2018 debut and hands down it's HD's best ride ..... Best of cruising & touring with a touch of sportiness.....and yes it glides! All this from a guy who went in looking at Road glide/king, Street Glide, Fatboy etc. didn't even know about the sport glide! Can't be any happier. Great for cruising around town and those long 10 days touring! A two in one. As for looks....it speaks for itself... has a touch of the 70s/80s choppers but with all the 21st century goodies. Living in Southern California, I've never had the fairing on.....takes all the fun away....no wind to your face? C'mon!
@@rickcastillo3573 lol. Your last ride will be worth it !😉 Seriously though, it's such more of a sportier, more to do and a younger ride bike than the street....
Ordered my 2021 a few weeks ago after a test ride and seeing your video. Only thing that made me hesitate was the price tag, especially with some small extras like risers and a nicer exhaust. Would’ve loved to buy it for the USD price tag though. Over here in the Netherlands the base price is roughly 23k euro (about 26.300 USD currently). Don’t even get me started on the extras with the Harley tax. First Harley ever after 25+ years of other vtwin. Smile started after about half a mile and never left my face, so guess it’s worth it 😂
Great bike. Top of the softail line. Harley still producing & selling this bike abroad. Harley should make two versions of this bike and bring it back. This time advertise & promote it. One in blacked out trim black motor more club style solo seat plus separate passenger pillon. Harley’s T bar, clete pegs black exhaust. Another with the chrome, same bars, fat boy boards, step seat that has a narrow seat front to also fit women. The Sport Glide has been a great seller to the growing women rider segment. Moving from their Sportsters to this because of the ride in it not on it low seat height and being over 100 pounds lighter than maneuvering a bagger in garages gravel single lane turn around etc. This bike has sold well and has following already despite Harley’s lack of promotion & advertising.
I was deciding between this and the Low Rider S, in the end I decided to go with this for the much more relaxed riding position and general feel of the bike. I’ll be going a stage 2 in the future so the power will come later on. Absolutely love the look of this with and without the fairing & panniers. Great vid mate, ride safe. From Australia 🇦🇺
I own one and drove 5000kms. The only thing is after rain both sides at the swingarm is full of rustwater, coming from the inside of the rot at both sides. There are small holes in it with release water…! Further the frontfork seals are to tight. The bike drives like a horse. The fork has “slip stick”! Next week HD brings the legs at Hyperpro for new SKF green seals, better oil and hyperpro progressive springs (the springs i have to pay myself)….despite of that i love mij SG and runs better every mile!!
@jawline_Rider You are recording in mono audio. If your viewers are watching in stereo audio format it only comes out of the left channel. Your recent videos are like that. Easy fix. Your content is great. I love to hear the opinion of people about products im thinking about. Cheers.
I took one for a ride today and I just couldn't stop smiling, I bought it today and im so excited about riding in Montana this summer !!!!
Good for you! Great choice!

Thinking of trading in my 2019 Street Bob for this. My wife is going to kill me.😁

Best bike HD ever made.
Looks so much better with the fairing removed. Never put mine on.
I like it without the bags. Glad there easily removable.

I love everything about the Sport Glide, but it'll be discontinued in 2022. Financially I'll be ready in 2023, like I said it won't be there.

That Heritage is something else 🤤
I have one,2021.
I am planning to get one, between Fat Bob and Sport Glide, any suggestions?
Better hurry up with that decision. No 2022 Sport Glide.
If you have to choose from sport glide and lowrider s which one would you go for considering lowrider s has 114 engine but glide has nice bags.
Please tell me the ride feeling comparison if you could. Specially when turning...
I went for the Sport Glide. No regrets.
Does neutral show up easier as the bike breaks in?
Getting better after the first inspection. Now it‘s no problem at all.
I have one and yes it does get easier
Bro I wanna see you ride a Road King 👑 lol that would be funny
The white one is😘
Too much of a bike for a first bike? Or? Thank you!
$450 extra for a different color, REALLY?! No wonder they're not selling bikes.
They actually are. All the dealers around me can’t keep them in stock.
Lol! The dealers are selling them faster than the factory can supply them. Do keep up. 😂
