    These look awesome, but that hot sauce should have been outside! Great idea to smash the potatoes, I'll have to try. Perfect tho put these out when guests are over! And very cool to see the collab between my 3 favorite YT channels!

    Dang, I can't wait to try these. Did you know Neil, after chopping the top off the green onions you can put the root end in a cup with a little water and they will grow back? Put the cup in a warm sunny spot and in a week or so........bam.

    Neil, you are very humble. I love the Waltwins and they are really good. There is no doubt that you are mountains ahead of them with the way you teach your audience. You tell us all the aspects of why, how and build confidence for us to experiment with new ideas.
    More importantly, your honest with us with the cooks you do that are just OK.

    OHHH yeh, these are great, good idea in creating another griddle BOOM. A must try again, and with huntin camp within hours now, the choices are super because of your creativity. Now, off to download the recipe, of course!! Not to mention, you can make this with BBQ chicken or turkey.

    You can also make a small brine and roll the clean potatoes in it, then put in oven. The salt will leave a nice salty taste.

    What about bacon grease instead of beef tallow? In a pinch or just because you don’t have tallow. I am going to implement this one. Usually I do smash potatoes in butter but with a few dry seasoning, but this makes sense as a proper side dish for steak night!!!

    Those look freaking awesome Neal! The crisp on those potato skins is insane! The cheese, pulled pork from the other day, bacon, green onions, gotta have some veggies, and bbq sauce.     Smashed baked bbq potatoe skins....who`da thunk....LOL. These look fantastic!
    Thankfully, i was able to catch myself before licking and biting the computor screen again... i made sure my wife was out of the room first this time before i did it.

    I'm an admitted twice baked tater junkie ,( I should go to meetings) but the thought of the crispification of the griddle on the tater skins just locked in my addiction. I'm gonna send you the bill for my bigger belt!!! LOL

      hahahaha Hey brother honestly I am the same way...I actually have a twice baked potop brisket skin....close to the same idea but took the insides and made twice baked potato mix and added it back then topped it off...check that one out

      @@TheFlatTopKing for sure on that but you know, you're the real deal as well Neal! I have learned so much over the past few days watching your vids. Just joined your Facebook group. My griddle arrived last night and I gave it three rounds of seasoning. Let it cool down completely, fired it back up and cooked four strips of bacon. Worked beautiful! Pretty impressed for this electric but commercial grade griddle. Still burns the heck out of me that I can't have an outdoors griddle running off propane in my apartment complex.

      Yeah we get a ton of subscribers that say they can not wait to move and have the ability to cook on a griddle outdoors...they find ways to scratch the itch..but never stops wanting the gas one
